Pay rise is part of what they are demanding for and you would bear me witness of the high inflation if at all you are living in the country. States university don't just employ people indiscriminate there are things to be considered of which kaduna state assembly and people of kaduna are not ready to accept. You can't sack your people and employ outsiders

The whole of Delta no higher institution is on strike. The same with some other states.

ASUU is not exclusively for Federal Universities, it's a union for LECTURERS in the universities. Any university whether federal or state can be a member, the same way a federal or state university can also be exempted.

Unizik wasn't a member for a long time despite being a federal university, till they joined some few years ago.

Federal university of petroleum resources effurun delta state (fupre) is on strike brother
Delsu Intially joined the strike but backed off after a month
The newly created universities in ozoro and agbor need time before they can join ASUU
Some relatively new federal universities like transport university in daura didn't join the strike they're still in session too
