It is unfortunate that students bear the brunt of this strikes. But the problem is not ASUU but the FG. If only the FG honoured the signed agreement, there would be no strikes. It's not a new agitation it is the old one.

El-rufai does not give empty threats! It's time to choose: forfeit ASUU strike and resume or forfeit your employment in solidarity to ASUU. KASU lecturers, over to you.

You have a point there.Lets look at it in another perspective.If the needful is done I don't think the backward nature of lecturers will be accepted.

Corruption is a systemic thing in Nigeria.They delight in frustrating students because the culture supports corruption directly or indirectly.A society that praises you asong as the money rolls in without questioning the source esp when it looks so sudden or controversial.

Imagine how much the accountant general stole? Is that not enough to clear the issue and the government while honouring their terms they shouy also give ASUU conditions too.That victimization of students will be independently investigated.


Nobody is thinking at all.ASUU give government condition and the government too give ASUU conditions before payment.This brouhaha will be settled.

The old one had the clause of upgrade every three years based on the economic realities. It's more that 10 years with zero attempt of review. This is just one of the issues. The only New one is the rejection of IPPIS as not suitable for the University system

Mr governor there is nothing you can do, if you like sack them and import forieng lecturers and see if you have the money to settle them

Honestly, I just received a mail with article and processing fee of over 80k. The common man cannot understand the plight of Nigerian lecturers!
