I completely agree with this take. A lot has been made about his cognition but the reality is even based on willpower Buhari is a shadow of who he used to be. I know someone who up to early this year used to attend FEC meetings and the person said Bubu is easily bamboozled as long as his trusted confidants agree with you or are working behind with you, he just looks at them for approval and if they give the go-ahead it is done. The last batch of service chiefs that overstayed their tenures and were rewarded with ambassadorial appointments; All of them are present day members of APC and mega billionaires in Naira. That would never have happened with a more cognitive and vibrant Buhari.
