Sequel to the recent news on the newly constructed Igwuruta-Chokocho road by the Governor of Rivers State, Nyeson Wike. https://www.nairaland.com/7248867/before-after-photo-igwuruta-chokocho-road Here comes the Igbo Etche-Rumuokwurushi road which has been in a deplorable state for the past four years. Similar nature befalls the Igbo Etche-Umuegbule road in Etche LGA. Despite numerous pleas and protests by residents and commuters plying the road, the state government remains adamant in developing other areas of Rivers State other than Ikwerre LGAs.

Tamahog:Why Cry to Wike, Cry to APC federal Government, That is a federal Road, that is the reason why it has been left like that for so long, the beginning of that road leads to my house which a a bit ok. but if Ministy of works and RVSG can reach an agreement Wike will fix the road, and that road should be a dual express road. Nice residential location out of the busy port harcourt town |

gare:I doubt if it's a federal road. Even if it is, he ought to have constructed it long time ago. Are other road project like the numerous Fly Over constructions in Port Harcourt not on Federal road? 1 Like |
