Former President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli has denied saying the presidential candidate of “More significantly is his ability to identify and engage exceptional and committed technocrats in governance with tangible results over time, and maintaining relationships with them, and others across board. This, I believe will be replicated if he is given the opportunity at the Federal level.

He said he was wrongly quoted and never said Tinubu is incompetent to take Nigeria to the Promised Land. Tee Mac was quoted on Wednesday to have said Tinubu is 86 and too old to serve as President. But in a statement on Saturday, the renowned flutist said the competence of Tinubu to lead Nigeria is never in doubt.

The statement reads: “My attention has been drawn to a post that has gone viral on Social Media regarding a private banter with a Facebook acquaintance on the eligibility of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Whilst it is regrettable that such a private conversation went viral vide from a Facebook Account, let me state that the conversation was taken out of context.

“In the first instance, I have high regards for the person of the APC Presidential candidate; a two (2)-Term Governor of Lagos State, and a revered leader of the APC. I have lived in Lagos since I relocated from Switzerland, and I can attest to his transformational impact in the State

“More significantly is his ability to identify and engage exceptional and committed technocrats in governance with tangible results over time, and maintaining relationships with them, and others across board. This, I believe will be replicated if he is given the opportunity at the Federal level.

“His all-inclusive style of governance has seen people from other states, ethnicities and faith take up appointments in Lagos, serving meritoriously too!
Consequently, his competence is not in doubt. “I only expressed my fear for the rigours of the office.

“My personal view is that anyone can choose any candidate, but must ask themselves if they have chosen rightly. This is a pertinent question for everyone. I simply admonished a friend to vote by his convictions.

“My only grouse, which I still stand by is that it was Tinubu who sold Buhari to the nation in 2015, which candidate, contrary to all expectations, underperformed.

“The above notwithstanding, I neither have a personal grudge with Asiwaju, nor would pursue a path of acrimony with my cousin, Remi Tinubu, whom everyone adjudged pleasant and supportive.Tinubu remains a man I admire regardless of what sycophants have tried to make of my comment.”

These statements alone have agreed with Tee-Mac earlier assertions. A slurred speeched, cognitively impaired and bent-stick walking dead man with parkinsonism can't be the ideal leader carrying the destiny of about 200M people on his shoulders in a 21st century world.

Tinubu is quiet striken in age and terribly sick, but the inordinate ambition to rule Nigeria after the disaster he foisted has beclouded his sense of sound judgement.

Buhari "contrary to all expectations, underperformed? Are you kidding me. Same Buhari Tinubu openly boasted that he brought to power? Is he not proud of his achievement again or it is now a case of a leper having no friends again?

Is Tee-Mac a kid in 1984-85 when Buhari ruled as HOS? What has changed compared to 2015-date? The truth is that Buhari was a monumental catastrophe which Tinubu knew but choose to foist him on a nation because of inordinate ambition of emilokan.

Yeah! Tinubu have long replicated his so called human resources management @ the national level and Nigeria have been suffering it for the past 7years.

"....If anything, Tinubu’s judgement on leadership selections is more than enough proof of his lack of managerial acumen. Those who believe that Tinubu has a peculiar skill for selecting worthwhile leaders should at least account for his prudence in fostering a crassly incompetent leader like Buhari, not once but twice! Buhari turned out to be a disaster during his first term, but Tinubu promoted him for a second term.

Anyone who watched Buhari’s recent interview with Channels Television cannot but conclude that though Buhari still has 17 months to go, Nigeria has already frittered away eight years of national life. We have been plagued with possibly the most incompetent and the most sociopathic leader in national history.

In 2015, Buhari was hardly a promising candidate, but things were not supposed to be this bad. The man did not solve any problem but, in fact, worsened every-thing with his impotence and sadistic arrogance. That was a leader Tinubu helped install twice & we are supposed to trust his judgement again? No!

After the monumental disaster called Buhari, Nigeria cannot afford another leader whose driving motivation for the presidency is to merely fulfil a lifelong dream. Tinubu has a right to pursue his ambition but not at the expense of poor and long-suffering Nigerians already counting down to the days when Buhari’s nuisance will be escorted out of Aso Rock.

The 2023 election should be a turning point. Recruiting another bumbler as president jeopardises that chance. We can all agree that Nigeria deserves better than a candidate without a viable record of administrative success beyond the cheap propaganda retailed in the media and parroted by those who do not listen to their own thoughts before mouthing them."

Whenever I remember how PDP killed Funso Williams, I also remember Marshall Harry and Dikibo.

All were of the PDP, killed by PDP, and their cases were never resolved by a federal police under a PDP federal government.

Shame on the useless PDP.

How can we even compare a trailblazer like Tinubu to a 3rd class political prostitute like Obi?

Who will be steadfast in a tough situation?
Tinubu who would stand his ground or Obi who would look for an escape route and abandon the cause?

It is no coincidence that Tinubu stood his ground against OBJ over the extra local governments he wanted to create, despite the consequences of withheld LGA funds.

It is no coincidence that Tinubu stood his ground in APC and won the presidential primary, when he could have easily succumb to defeat before the primary and run like a political prostitute to SDP or Labour Party.

While Tinubu was building human capacity regardless of religion and ethnicity, Obi was busy purging Anambra Civil Service of Igbos from Abia and Imo, and pitting Catholic Christians against Anglican/Protestant Christians.

We know who has leadership qualities, and who has the eye to identify talent and willing to mentor such talent.

Tinubu all the way to 2023 Presidency.

Everyone blaming Tinubu for bringing Buhari, forgetting Jonathan was also a failure. Secondly Tinubu has supported a lot of successful candidates in the past and their administration was amazing. Fashola, Aregbesola, Ajimobi, Oshiomole etc and they did well in their respective states . The state he has influence over the governors has been the most successful state in the country .
