Man!!! You need to dey chill oh

Be like una plenty wey don mean am, y'all were just waiting for the opportunity to rip him apart.

Truth be told, when one is straightforward, it would be so glaring, as one wouldn't have any need to defend claims and counter-claims.

My episode with him was during the "Bolt paid waiting argument."

@Pearl, in life, we win some, we lose some.

One of the best qualities one should possess, is the ability to own up, apologize and make amendments where necessary. Nobody sabi finish as flaws are a part of our existence (to err is human).

Being perfect isn't being real, rather let your perfection come as a result of you being real, that's true perfection.

Anything short of this, would give rise to negative energy and would have you resort to lies, manipulations, arguments, toxic conversations and messing with other people's mental health, including yours.

@Glithronix make me sef borrow one "much respect" today.

Much respect bosses em'

Lol, not surprised to know that at this stage, you still adorn your suit of criminal tendencies. You're still trying to twist that issue too, saying unreal things.

Was just an advice I gave up there. It's not for everyone, it's for real men, it takes balls to own up, so man up and learn to admit when you're wrong.

You were the one trying to fool riders (who probably come here to learn a thing or 2) into believing that paid waiting was inconsequential when it comes to the actual fare at the end of the trip, (for drivers who go all the way and only start their trip when they're close to the destination), when indeed it does.

I was against it over and over, and I still am. (RIDERS, PLEASE ENSURE YOUR DRIVERS ON BOLT START THE TRIP RIGHT AT THE PICK UP LOCATION).

You didn't want your trick on how you made 11k very early in the morning (according to you) casted, but then, you ended up speaking from both sides of your mouth.

Bro, I do not have the (negative) energy for your mind games, it's all love from this side, manipearlator, enjoy the rest of the night.

Cheers!

so basically, this is an appreciation post on this guy.

He's received so much hate and bile from here that I wonder why?

I'm based in the south side of the country.

I needed mercedes benz parts.

I couldn't fly to Lagos because I was busy.
I recalled felicity was in Lagos and knew the innings of Lagos.

I contacted him.

He was super helpful towards my questions and did his best to assuage my fears.

The next day..
After a brief market survey, he headed to ladipo on my behalf.

He got parts for me totalling slightly over half a million naira, and I transferred the money to him without meeting him at all. He documented his journey with pictures and videos all the way, which made the process very easy!

With the surge in scams and fraudsters in this Nigeria, he's completely changed my view about everything!

Kudos to the man.

Na man you be!

Hats off!

Thank you for dropping this info at a time like this… because this is to confirm that Felicity001 and pearl1910 are the only honest persons on this our thread.
You gave feli half million he delivered
Dru gave pearl1910 50k he delivered too
But the Gabrinchiii in pearl took 20k out of 50k and later 2k challenge ordinary 2k.

May God not allow d Gabrinchiii in us spoil our good name.

You see one of my problem with Pearl, he never admit his wrong and let things go easily naturally. You try to water things, but see the way he try to turn it around by making enemy out of you and how he doesn't keep people in mind. Who have time to be keeping people in mind? Men are just going their own and in is ignorance of acting posh and over serious, he gave them penalty right in front of his 18. Who doesn't like free goals? fact here is he say things that are not true most times. Yea! We all do that sometimes, either for jokes, but own up and if it is for joke, we laugh it out, life is not that hard. Real men no deh beef, if you mess up, they tell it to you face and we close the chapter. Life goes on, who no get but/weakness for body? I guess it took him extra effort to keep up with the I'm too holy attitude. Nothing like living freely and being true to oneself while understanding the consequences of our actions.

He tries to act so upright that someone claimed he is the most honest person out here as if he has done business with the rest of the people here. That's an insult... trusting him is enough, but robbing it on other people face is another thing entirely. One sign of a matured person is the ability to look away or skip discussion you don't feel or have input and things must not go our way all the time.

Pearl! It's people that truly cares for you that will scold you. Trust me, when it all gets rotten, what belongs to you is left for you alone. Just be calming down, stop fingering people intelligence and talking down on other people hustle. Your own nah your own and my own nah my own, as long as we no deh disturb each other, then it's pointless trying to success gauge anybody.

Live and let live
All love and better days I pray for we all

Stale gist... I have moved on, long time. New information was made available.
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 7:03am On Jul 29, 2022
The reason people call me two mouthed is because I am flexible and versatile. If I hold an opinion and later discover that I am wrong, I always backtrack. I may grand stand initially but at the end if more information is made available I concede.
This does not include first hand information or experience or knowledge that I have.

Secondly, I have experience as a driver, a partner and a business owner. So I understand how the shoe pinches for the different players, I can speak from different perspectives and at some point in time, what I am saying will not be pleasant to some ears. So today I may support drivers, and tomorrow I will speak the mind of partners and sometimes it seems like I work for Bolt because I understand the business side too.
I am not pretentious or wanting to be the darling of the public. I am reasonable and knowledgeable enough to say it as it is.
But u know as they say truth is bitter. Nobody likes to take a bitter drink. But in the end, the truth prevails.

On this thread and any other place, I respect myself. If u respect yourself we will flow well.
But the moment u start miss yarning...u don't know me but u call me a thief, fraud and liar and expect me to sit back and smile at you?
Like I said before people should go and learn public speaking...how to disagree without insulting or hurting others feelings. U can say u don't think what I am saying is true rather than say "u r a liar"
Instead of saying "I disagree with u" u can say "I disagree with this point or opinion". U don't confront or challenge a man and expect him to fold up, except he is a simp.
Little little things like this promotes either a heathy discussion or a violent one. U shouldn't judge, conclude or accuse with only internet or online sources or without having all the information u need or the person accepting it. Because like we all know, this is the internet and anything can be manipulated.

We hurt others feelings for sport and call it cruise, haba. Then amongst us here we still beef each other and have people we permanently speak against. Even if what the person is saying is correct we rather keep mute than support the person.
U think people don't notice all these things?
Even when I said I will not reply to someone here again, I was upset at the time, I still contacted him for business.
I recall one time I said I support ur opinion on a subject and u where like God forbid, maybe u will change ur opinion because both of us can't b in thesame ship. Same thing Bazoo said. The other Day Donfortun came up with pretence, even though I knew where he was going but I followed him up in the same measure.

So this ur advise, I think it's u and your friends that need it more. Everybody should also take a piece of it. This thread is for sharing of experience that's why I don't discourage the oven lighting gists because it's part of the experience. But leave me alone to my serious nature and let me pass substance across or share information that will be of actual benefit to new and existing drivers. Don't try to censor my attitude, or demeanor because it's different from yours.
I have never said u shouldn't joke or jest, my argument with u from day one is because we have different views of the hussle.
Even the people u think I support, the day they say something that's not correct, I still speak against it. I am not a pretentious person or a sycophant. I have passed that level. I treat others with respect and dignity and I expect it to be reciprocated. I am not proud or pompous, it's confidence and self worth. That's why till today I still drive, it doesn't take an ounce off my self esteem, it's not what u do that defines u, it is who you are in the inside.
So let's leave it like that.

He's an intelligent man, those factors should not stop him, he'll learn. I'll just advise he sticks to google map and ensure he obeys all traffic rules if he's not familiar yet. and don't pick riders at bustops on hot days.

I saw task force block the two entrances of secretariat bus stop one Monday like that and arrest all the vehicles that were there. Hungry people maybe its now a crime to drop somebody at bus stop i don't know.

Before I forget too, avoid soole at all cost, especially if you no get liver for trouble or its not your personal car.

Avoid Berger round about, area one round about, area three junction, Apo bridge, Lugbe car wash, police signboard and don't pick along around Mabushi cos na agbero dey disguise
