See previous thread here: Thugs Invade Catholic Church In Lagos, Cart Away PVC Registration Machines

SP Benjamin Hundeyin @BenHundeyin

The INEC officials were assigned to Imam Thani Street by House No 9A for today's exercise. They were, however, found within the church premises. Residents raised concern & informed the police. The DPO Ijeshatedo swung into action and brought the INEC officials to the station.

Preliminary findings show that a resident of the area who volunteered to transport the officials from their office to the center was responsible for the mixup, deliberate or not, further investigation will reveal.

Meanwhile, the officials were immediately released to proceed to the correct center to continue their assignment.

Some people with an agenda just release misleading statements to the public to promote politically-biased narratives. Such persons should be censured and made an example of as a future deterrent.

So why did agberos join Police in making arrest if not that Tinubu is behind the agberos...

Probably the Church was a safer place for the INEC officials away from the agberos based on previous events of attacks on registrants

That's the true picture of the situation. But some persons with a political agenda started recording a video and spinning the real situation of things to drive a false narrative to win sympathy in favour of their political agenda.

Stop politics of hate and religious bigotry before it is too late. You are putting real people in danger.

The person who "mixed up" and landed the machine in a church where certain politicial interests are favoured more and the videographer who sensationalized it by calling and mislabelling the vigilant prospective voters thugs need to be thoroughly investigated.

All these things are necessary to stop this horrible politics of hate and bigotry, strengthen our electoral laws, democratic exercises and peaceful co-existence before, during and after elections.
