So, I woke up this morning to find this creature in one of the buckets in the bathroom. My little nephew told me that he found it at our backyard this morning.
We don't know how it got there. Our backyard isn't bushy,neither is our area. Although there's some swampy land behind our compound,and it's possible that the heavy rain that's been falling for the past few weeks could have influenced it's migration to our compound.

The problem now is, we are confused on what to do with it.. My mom is talking about keeping it and raising it,but I don't think that's a good idea. A tortoise isn't an ideal pet in my opinion. We don't even know how to take care of it...
I suggested we sell it to a mini zoo that's located not too far from our area, but I'm not sure they would be willing to buy it.

What happened is that we later decided to return it back to the swamp around our area.. The idea is that it would be better for it..

Someone's destiny has been tied down or slowed down. Anoint it and burn it. Don't hand it over to anyone,if anyone ask for it, that's the witch/wizard in the house.

It comes from the marshy area within that your environment. This species of tortoise feed on little fish, insect and succulent leaves. It can dig the ground and went underground very strong

it looks like an aquatic turtle, rare at as pet. Keep it.

How is it mysterious when humans activities are actually the one encroaching their habitats.

Donating it to a Nigeria zoo is death sentence. Better to release it to the wild.

Hmmm...it must have come from there.

On a side note, if this Tortoise is able to migrate to your house from thd swamp successfully, then you have to be careful about dangerous reptiles such as snakes that can take a similar route.

When there is a heavy downpour, snakes leave their homes seeking heat and if humans are nearby, they have heat sensors that directs them to our house which is usually warm

Nothing superstitious bro. Weather conditions most likely caused its unintended migration. Take it back to the swampy terrain.

Na everything una wan use make money....... In-between, tortise are great pets.... But e sure me say you go die betore the tortise because they have a very long life span.... And na hundreds of years dem dey live....... One tortise fit live up to 200 years.... So please, free it and let it go if you can't give the zoo keepers for free
