Every driver or "random" person has people who love them, even the mad people on the streets.

Some are printed on papers and made public.

So you think that a company that shephards mere materials / resources, in its own judgement, doesn't YET feel a Nigerian can run its business for 50+ years — makes sense.

Whereas, a Church that shephards SOULS and that's less than 15 years (in said country) hasn't YET felt convinced that authority should be passed is not logically sound?

I'm a Christian, but as a human being, I know the value of good exercise and adequate rest.

I'm know pastors very well. They pray, preach, minister, attend all sorts of meetings without sleeping well and having good periods of peace and quiet to just observe recreation.

It tells on the body.

Before people come and talk about people in the Bible living long lives, remember, they were mostly trekking, and their diet wasn't like ours.

...it's high blood pressure ..my uncle also has this type of health problem..he slumps when ever is blood pressure is high but when he is rushed to the hospital the doctors will bring him back to life

But know that the 'Church' the way we have it today is mostly a company too — and it's not the way Jesus would have wanted. Hence my comparison with other 'secular' firms.

But that's another topic altogether.

If you own an international company where each regional branch remits revenue to the HQ's account in Nigeria, won't you appoint your fellow Nigerians you know and trust to oversee those branches than strangers in those countries?

My guess is he had underlying health issues like hypertension or heart disease that ultimately led to a cardiac arrest.
