So I recently went to the Atlanta Zoo. Never seen a lion or elephant all my life so I decided to make the trip to zoo Atlanta. Will share more pictures soonest.

5years ago I landed in the greatest country in the world and it has been a successful journey.

I felt I would make so much noise today but realizing the naira to dollar rate rose/fell from #625 less than a week ago to #700 today has left a bitter taste in my mouth...
Gives me the feeling of someone grieving a loss.

It was a great run while this thread lasted..
Thanks to all of my followers and wellwishers.

The thread served its purpose and I personally know a few people that it helped get to the US.

This is officially my last post and I'd say to those in the future reading this... If I could do it, you can do it too!

My new baby.. Arrived America with just $250 and a dream, 7 years later bought two houses one for my family the second for business (Airbnb).

Currently own a nutrional business which I am still growing steadily and hopefully quit my 9 to 5 jobs and focus on the business by Gods grace.
In america you can achieve as long as you put your mind and go for it. work hard and smart.

I say make I post small doings to encourage ourselves.

@Mackynaija, you have been a great inspiration to us all, please don't leave, sometimes come here to advice those of us that needs it, matter of fact it was on this forum that I saw in one of your page, where you and @kroger or so were given advice on Tech and IT, then I started networking certification and introduction to cybersecurity, I got two certification already from Cisco and a job on the island with this certificate that gave me edge and also still looking toward Cloud computing certification and the likes, plus I got a networking school offer from UK but I can't meet up with the fee, but as God liveth I will make it to the UK or US when it is right. So please once in a while come and give us some piece of advice. May God continually bless you and @kroger and the rest who has contributed positively on this forum, Thank you.

I did not attend any formal school here, I learnt online and mentored by those already in the field.

I used www.cybrary.it and also bought some courses on udemy for my learning.

I tried to get the Tiger attention but the guy no send me.

Very intelligent bird, I was in awe of the performance displayed by the bird and its trainer. The bird listens to instructuons and executes it.

I only got the performances on video.

Will post more pictures later.

The journey so far -

1. The new semester started this week.
Same old, same old - attend classes, sign the attendance sheet for free marks, copy assignments and copy during tests and exams (the last two points are actually new tactics).

Prepared for lectures on Tuesday morning, checked the schedule online to confirm the time and discovered the lecturer has been changed to the one that gives high blood pressure - even the devil knows I am going to change the course and do a harder one with a more sensitive lecturer.


2. I discovered how to survive with different sets of food over the summer.

a. Home baked fries and chicken. (Froozen fries and pre-seasoned chicken).

b. Baked potatoes with butter or cheese. (Not sweet or irish but russet potatoes).

c. Home prepared tacos with chicken or beef - una need see as I don fresh.

d. Oven toast bread with cheese, scrambled eggs and bacon. "Broil" bread for 1 minute until crisp on both sides for us without toaster.

e. Okro OR Spinach soup. Frozen okro, tastes like normal. Spinach na vegetable soup.
Garri either hard to find or too cost, replaced that with wheat.
