There's something I wanted to talk about this our depth and quality but I don't want to say it now so that it won't sound too premature.

Williamson and Mead were exceptional. Leadership and quality performance respectively.

Mediema had injury issues plus her country didn't do well generally being former champions.

Special mention is the Lions coach Weigmann, absolutely brilliant. Won it with two different nations in space of 5years. Holland and now England

Inasmuch as Saliba is taking everything by storm, I think it is a bit unripe to just place him ahead of White. White is more important to our tactic and the way we play generally. Hopefully,we will get it right.
BTW, this will be a real headache for Arteta especially when Tomi is back

How do you know he's more important?

From reviews I've read, he's more aggressive,calm, have speed and he's hardly beaten by any attacker. Coupled with the fact that he has a good passing range like White too. If na you be the boss, who will you choose?

This season is one that Arteta would want to use his best team since the pressure is on and I won't be surprised it'll be Gabriel-Saliba pairing it'll be all season (all things being equal). Though sometimes we might switch to 3 at the back to accommodate White

Whoever Arteta chooses to Partner Gabriel in CB role, I won’t really have issues with him. As it stands both Saliba and White are good players; obviously one of them will get the gaffer’s nod but that party will constantly be under pressure knowing fully we’ll be can be easily replaced and May end up losing his place .

That’s the kind of competition we’ve been lacking for a while now .

I haven't watched him tho cos I don't watch preseason but the reviews I'm hearing about him ehh, e too positive. Plus Arteta to break that Gabriel-White pair to Gabriel-Saliba pairing in all our strong matches really sent a message.
