Dear Nlanders, I seriously need your imput.
I need to travel from Abuja to Kaduna by the weekend. Now, the problem is I am scared of the security situation of the road. Should I travel using the Abuja-Kaduna or I should use Abuja-Kafanchan-Kaduna road? Which do you personally think is safer? And which is safer; a weekend or weekday trip?

Travel between the hours of 7am - 12pm on Friday.

This here is the best advice anybody can give you, if you know it is a must to travel.

Any journey on that dreaded
highway should be undertaken
between 9am and 2pm.

Don't be found on that road outside
the 5 hour window.

Most bandits operation start from
3pm or early morning.

That Abuja/Kafanchan road is very long with deep routed villages in the southern part of the state which are safe haven for bandits, I will prefer the dreaded Abuja/Kaduna expressway if I must make that journey after writing my will...

I will advise you to go by public transport. Go get your bus in Jabi park and travel with peace of mind (I know what I'm saying)

You don't need to go to Kafanchan, abuja-keffi-barde-kachia-kaduna
