They must have paid the demanded ransom of 100k us dollars. Abductors now know that the naira is not reliable again, so they have begun making their demands in preferred dollars. This will further put pressure on the naira as it is no longer acceptable as a form of payment in the 5th sector of the Fulani government - kidnapping sector.
