With pinpoint guidance it would be better option than firing SRBMs

Personally in my opinion both los and beyond los engagement has their own advantage and disadvantage Cant replace one with another

Specific situation will favor corresponding choice

Eg the associated sensor to shooter chain is going to long in case of long range artillery, without a robust chain it ain't going to yield the desired results , if one has it in place than long range artillery is going to very effective , will break the moral on the opp side

Los targeting with short range artillery is just eyeballing the enemy and blast them with a warcry , very simple & uncomplicated through in this case probability of one getting blasted in return is equally high

In arty there are direct fires and indirect fires. Indirect by definition is beyond los. Now, when some slowpoke claims an indirect system whose range is limited to 30km is better than a 60km range system, one rightly has to wonder about their sanity. Especially when that same slowpoke comes here a few years later and extols the virtue of Russian long-range arty over the very same short-range systems used by the Ukrainians, that they'd previously praised.

1 x unit - Diesel for supply to Navy Warships at sea

1 x Unit - Supply of water to Navy Ships.

These designs can easily be modified to required displacement to serve as mobile outposts in water bodies rivers lakes shores

Yep. Denel went to General Dynamics in the US in 2001 with the proposal for GD to provide funding for mostly production, as the testing could be funded in-house. GD said no as they couldn't see any need for such a round!

No idea as to cost. Have heard similar sentiment as yours: payload is sacrificed for range so guidance becomes a necessity!
