4 x 400m men’s relay underway. Heat 1 Nigeria in 4. Johnson Nnamani Samson Nathaniel Ezekiel Nathaniel Sikini Adeyemi The relay team not really doing well. Nigerian trailing behind Botswana and Jamaica. Sikini Adeyemi messed up the third position for Nigeria. Zambia overtook Nigeria in the final leg to take the third position. Nigeria might still qualify. |

fergie001: I think the common wealth games record is held by Brigitte Foster of Jamaica now Brigitte Foster-Hylton. She ran 12:65 in the 2006 Melbourne Australia commonwealth games. Four years later in Delhi, Sally Pearson ran 12:67 and she repeated 12:67 to win the gold in Glasgow, Scotland in 2014 commonwealth games. I remember this game, Tiffany Ofili or Tiffany Porter, Cindy Sember’s elder sister took the silver. Hopefully the wind will not interfere on Sunday as Amusan breaks the record. Wishing her well. |
