You're still not getting me. ... You're deducing the presumed interpretation and you're wrong. I can vote Obi and I will do my campaign for him but on what ground yet?
Atiku is also another devil that can have my vote but nothing from him yet...... We have Tinubu the Red sea, Atiku the devil and Obi the Left. We are strucked with the devil, red sea and the left, if I have no concrete reasons to supprt any of them for better Nigeria, I will take my right way........

Is this much for you to understand?
No vex

I no too bright like that

Reccy, please take out time to read this. It encapsulates our primary talking points as to why Peter Obi is the very best candidate to lead this country.

https://punchng.com/history-and-obis-2023-tsunamic-wave/

Did you know that in the last 15 years, Peter Obi is the ONLY South eastern governor to not go to the Senate?
We all know that these evil politicians after ruling their states and plunging them into penury, go and retire in the Senate to chop further free billions.

In the East, rochas okorocha, Dave umahi, obianos wife, Chimaroke nnamani, Theodore orji, orji uzor kalu etc have all gone or are seeking to go to the Senate but peter obi remains the ONLY eastern governor to not have sought his own further retirement pension in the Senate?

Further to that, he was appointed the chairman of Nigerian securities exchange commission and he didn't collect a dime. He foregoed his commission and emoluments. That is a principled man.

Obi is not running to be our president, don't ever think that, we the masses are running through him to claim back our country from thieves. From looters, from evil bats, money-swallowing snakes and monkeys.

We say ENOUGH of these old style of politics. We want a new start. If you truly were inclined to support Obi before, then your heart and mind were in the right place, never give that up.
You tried honestly and i must commend you.
What you should know is, I'm not the only one here who is a fencist as you call it. I have friends who are just readers here and other people too. What you are doing here , i want you to keep it up civilly, moderately and respectfully.

We would continue to make an informed decision as we progress. We all want and hope for better Nigeria that we can be proud of. I hope this election will give that.

Thumb up bro.

Just imagine the shameless and useless urchins trying to poke any hole they can find in Obi's speeches. Isn't this foolishness, especially considering that their own candidate has not even dared to speak to the public in years?

For the purpose of clarification to the reccys out there, obi was simply trying to point out that Morocco, a much smaller African country than nigeria (the supposed giant of Africa) was earning more than nigeria.

This was Obi advocating for us to shift away from oil alone and diversify our earning income. Obi pointed out how textile and footwears were produced massively in ABA and how that could be mainstreamed, he also pointed how modernizing agriculture in the north was a potential gold mine, comparing how a small country like Netherlands was making more than 4 times our earning from agricultural exports alone.

But no, these useless urchins will want to make a minor misrepresentation of facts the entire point of the interview. Shameful indeed.

lol take it up with AFP not me.

@reccy continue to interrogate and look at every information regarding every candidate before deciding who to vote for.

Don't let any man-child bully, gaslight, blackmail or try to intimidate you because they are too immature and unskilled on how to convince people with facts. Wish you all the best as you make this difficult but most important choice.

Chris one simple question, you are yoruba first before you are Nigerian, am I correct?
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by chrisooblog: 2:45pm On Aug 05, 2022
Nope I'm a human being first. Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa or whatever construct you chose to identify with are labels we met when we were born.

Stop quizzing people on their ethnicity. You’re not running a survey are you?

I am, and as it stands, 95% of Tinubu supporters all share the same tribe, while the other aspirants have very largely diversified origins.
Tells it's story, doesn't it? grin grin

That's why people don't like engaging you in deep meaningful political debates you reduce everything to infantile tribal talk.

I could just as easily reply you and say you're igbo that's why you're backing Obi, but that will just distract from having a meaningful discuss.

For the record Osinbajo was my choice. I won't be voting for Tinubu, Atiku and Obi. People are free to make their choice but all 3 candidates have serious baggage and limitations that make them unsuitable for the office of the Nigerian president.

When I see anyone supporting Tinubu, my first instinct is to feel that the person is definitely mentally insane because it behooves common sense to support either the man or his party.
Now if I rule out clinical insanity via the person being able to type on his phone, then I proceed to check the person's tribe because if I could discover that someone I respected very much here was an open tribal Nazi who hated anything igbo, then there were many more less educated people who felt even worse than he did and who will never in this life or the next vote for any candidate with a hint of an igbo name.

I am personally not tribal, I was an uncommon Igbo man who supported Buhari, but it seems like people I was in the same camp with were there for other cynical reasons. So you can't pull the tribal card on me.

What's the meaning of all these toxicity?

Why are you insulting people?
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by chrisooblog: 3:41pm On Aug 05, 2022
See this is the thing. You're trying to win hearts and minds, but when you start insulting or putting down people for supporting a candidate it rubs people the wrong way.

Like I said before every candidate has their baggage so claiming moral high ground will not work.

Focus on Obi's good attributes (he has quite a few) and craft a unique selling point that will make him appealing to undecided voters.

Here's a free tip stay away from any tribal dog whistling post to attack pro-Tinubu posters that will only galvanize them and lose you many fencists you're trying to woo.

I have never met a more naive person who knows that this same strategy was used against Buhari twice and failed but somehow thinks it will be effective against BAT.

He's not a Tribalist, yet he keeps profiling every Moniker that ain't supporting his Candidate. Cussing and bullying to win them over to his camp.

What kinda strategy is that?! Izzou, BlueRayDick, flint1, even EmmanuelScott1 ain't behaving like rabid Dogs while engaging or dropping posts here.

He's simply Onyeish pro max. Perhaps he's gonna invite other wild Dogs to chase everyone away from the Thread sooner or later.
