We have boxing final today.... Oshoba.
Ok. At least Silver will surface. Something in me just want to see us breaking that 37 medals stuff. These girls have really tried. They deserve all the accolades and breaking that would put icing on their cake.

I swear, I was not happy with the decision. Ogunlewe is a cheetah
Same Ogunlewe that almost lost the first sport handed over to him in the anchor leg to Omanyala of Kenya in the semi final?

The stake was raised higher yesterday and it continues today. They really don't have any other choice than to do it.
Hopefully,we can wrap it up from their side with two more medals.

I saw somewhere that our best performance was the time we won 34 medals years back but if my calculations is correct,we should be getting close to that by now if not more.

33 medals, so far

I also want us to..... We lost two medals in the Para sport because of reason(s) Sunday Dare & the AFN will do well explaining after this tournament.

The athletes, especially the ladies & Paralympians have been awesome.

We still have boxing too..
Also I forgot the women 400m relay team are in the final too..
Overall,it's 6 more medal hopefuls... Enough to break the 1994 record

The last part of your comment is a big lie. What's so hard in accepting things? You are just trying so hard to prove that you are right

Udo-Gabriel & Chukwuma have always been seen as the weakest.

In Mauritius, it was obvious. In Oregon, they wanted to drop Udo-Gabriel for Amusan but she was yet to run in the hurdles final.

So, the blistering start from Amusan set the pace and then Chukwuma shocked everyone, we won it from her bend. Australia was ahead of her but she was superb today and that ROAR for Nzubechi to run and not look back.

Watched like 10x already. Amusan was a difference and MVP Chukwuma kiss

Some good vibes is all over Tobi Amusan…
Positive energies all around that young woman.

She brought it into the team….2 gold for her.

In contrast with Jamaica. It didn’t quite go well with them.

That was not the Jamaican main team, you know this.

This is the first time since 1990 Auckland Commonwealth Games, that Nigeria had two relay teams winning medals in the 4x100m.

In 1990 Victor Nwankwo, Ezinwa brothers (Davidson & Osmond) & Abdullahi Tetengi ran 38.85s to get Silver; England (Gold), Jamaica (Bronze).

Same event, the women Beatrice Utondu, Fatima Yusuf, Charity Opara & Chioma Ajunwa ran 44.67s to take Bronze behind Australia (1st) & England (2nd)

This is the first time Nigeria will take Gold in the 4x100m since Victoria 1994 when Faith Idehen, Mary Tombiri, Christy Opara & Mary Onyali stormed to Gold.

6.56m for Ruth Usoro in the Women's long jump event... Her first attempt though....

Brume hasn't had an attempt yet, we are hopeful. She is the 2014 Commonwealth Champion and the African Record holder setting aside Chioma Ajunwa's after 25 years.
