10years is standard in many places. I finished around 10 too. Most people enter secondary school around 10/11

NDA just released the list of Regular Commission candidates. Both selected and reserve were asked to report!

But I wonder why the reserves for DSSC Course 26 where asked not to report despite being just 9 shortlisted from each state!

I faced the board too. Infact the Air force representative wrote down my chest number because I impressed the board. Throughout the AFSB I ensured that I made first cage and passed every stage.

Please, since the reserves reported together with the main ones does that mean that us that are not shortlisted have Hope to be called?! Thanks

Faced the board this morning... I was asked two questions from my discipline and two current affairs questions....

God really stood for me today he gave me the needed confidence, to the point that the chairman of the board asked me if i was a Soldier.

I am currently on my way back to my base.... I pray the good lord completes the good work that he has started... Jaji loading

Over and out

Ameen

But you stand a brighter chance with NA, though you almost got it this year based on your analysis above, i will advise you to choose NA next time, if you are meant to be an Airforce offr you will be one.

So many of my friends and family members admitted to NDA to the Different arm of service they applied for, some choose NN, but eventually they got NA, although at the AFSB that is where most destinies are changed. For instance, there is one a childhood friend of our lastborn during 61RC he chose NA, but as God we have it, he performed wonderfully at the AFSB, as such he was assured that day that he is coming as NAF Cadet by one of the Generals, eventually he was the first in the list in his sate.

Thank you, Sir. I'll try army next year but can you change your arm of service once admitted?

Except in a rare case, though i have never witness one neither was i told about it. Once you have admitted into ACADEMY, you are part and parcel of the arm of service you belong. as i have wrote earlier " at AFSB that is where destinies are being changed "

For instance this happened during my younger brother's time at the AFSB 57RC is a Major today, a guy was interviewed when he was about to let go, the Gen was asking him " why did you prefer NN? you want to be with mammy water jokingly " he was ready to change it for him, but wanted him to make such decision by himself for him to ratify it.

So AFAKA is NDA proper? hahaha!!!!!!
The only difference is that during Gen Sarham he built SSC WING in AFAKA, nothing still change in as much as those cadets will be in charge to oversee their affairs whether you dey Ribadu or Afaka, ur body go tell you.
