I would have said "impossible"; but I dare not. There are some words that do not exist in the vocabulary of the average Nigerian politician: Shame, principle, integrity, loyalty, etc.

Politicians tend to take actions in line with their interests and El-Rufai is one. He was a former PDP member before joining the APC.

The said Daniel Bwala himself was a leading spokeman for the APC just a couple of weeks ago. Today, he is spokeman for the Atiku Abubakar campaign organisation. I wont be surprised tomorrow if El-Rufai wakes up tomorrow and announces that he is bacjk in PDP.

During the transition of Military to civilian govt El Rufai was in the transition committee from BPE and made an excellent presentation that attracted the attention of Obasanjo and made him Minister of Abuja, never Abuja had a Minister like El Rufai. His competence and expertise earned him the position he got but not Atiku or somebody!

We cannot remove political base and history from political projections.

It takes the amalgamation of ACN, ANPP, CPC and a part of APGA to form alliance , for them to defeat a very formidable PDP.

At that time, there are key traditional swing regions for PDP....the SE and SS.
Obasanjo, Yar'adua, Goodluck Jonathan....all won because of the solid votes from SE, SS....ACN, ANPP cannot penetrate that region.

If you look at the patterns the North have been voting, it is more of who the political gladiators are...A Buhari, Atiku, Ali Modu Sheriff, El-Rufai, Shekarau, Kwankwaso, Tambuwal, and many others...each usually control their political bases.

Now, the United PDP couldn't withstand the United APC..

Is it a divided PDP that will now stand against United APC

The 3.5M margin of 2019.....remove the SE and SS PDP votes, and see the margins goes wider..since we all agree LP will win those zones...who will that affect, APC or PDP

APGA was a virgin party.

There was no social media.

If not for social media, Peter won't even be known across the East, talk more of Nigeria as a Presidential candidate.
