If you are in Lagos, yes. I recently bought a used laptop for someone. Core i5 10th Gen with top specs for around ₦230k. This was before $ touched ₦700 so prices may have gone up

It's more than enough If you know where to look.

The technology section/importation thread is there or you go to CV with an IT guy who knows his onions so as to avoid getting cheated.

Many old models are currently so overpriced online that it's just cheaper to buy them in physical stores

Go to JiJi . ng and search for used Laptops with
Ram: at-least 8GB,
Processor: at-least Core i5,
HardDisk: at-least 320GB or 500GB and above.

Depending on your location, you should be able to get one anywhere from 30,000 naira and above. Don't forget to be sure of what you getting by at least testing it before paying for it.

Safer to go with London used if buying Used, or at least buy from known Shops.

As for brands, go for HP's EliteBooks, Toshiba Tecra. Would have mentioned DELL also but don't know what they call their Business Line of Laptops.

See When going for a Laptop, go for their BUSINESS Line as those are more premium and engineered to be superior than those meant for causal use.

PSS: Please don't waste your money on Core i7. Difference between Core i7 and Core i5 isn't much, and chances are, your use case might end up not utilizing the full potential of a Core i7 system.
Also don't bother with Core i3 as those to me, are glorified Pentium 4 Pc.

Also avoid flashy and/ or sleek thin laptops. They are not meant for what you intend going into.

No need spending huge money at this early stage. What you need spend more is invest time on more knowledge.
