Man U would be a serious title-contender for around 5 years in the future, IF ten Hag succesfully do his work rebuilding the entire Man U like Klopp in Liverpool so far. Remember that Ajax isn’t the same as Man U, and certainly Man U have bigger mess to solve first, compared to Ajax.

Remember that none of SAF replacements are good enough for Man U so far. The only succesful manager was Jose Mourinho, and I think it was still not good enough compared to SAF. Man U main problems aren’t in their managers or even players. It’s far more complicated than that, and changing manager isn’t a final solution either.
