Omo, Gabriel Jesus first goal be giving me goosebumps. Just made me remember Alexis goal against ludogorets. Silky and milky grin grin
2goals and 2 assists in Emirates debut together with a potential goal of the month? What more could one ask for a home debut? grin

Martinelli goal na die. The way he hustled and won that ball cleanly sha before passing it, ran into position then use his weaker foot to beat Ward. You'll think winning that ball is nothing until you notice how Leicester was building from the back and already on the ascendency to break us down.
.Perfect!!!

Sometimes, I look at our squad and I'm marvelled. Na we really get this squad? Plus these guys seems improved from last season. Early days tho, but the optimism on this group is high. Not the first time I'm saying this but this squad dey give me Joy...

Happy days and long may it continue.. COYG!! cool

On the own goal. Here's my take from personal experience and what i always tell the youngies.

When you are closest to the ball, you should always be the one to take control and make the best decision.
No matter the shout from the goalie or your team mate, if you are the one who is closest to the ball in a dangerous area, simply look to play the ball out of danger and worry not about what the next person says.

There's a reason they always say "Throw-in better" ,"Ball to the Side" or "No Bouncing". Those are the basics and very key for any player to always act upon.

This same decision cost me a gold medal at Nicon Nufol (Nigerian Universities Football League) back then when a defender was waiting for the goalkeeper to clear a ball of the line rather than clearing it himself only for the striker to Knick in between them and score the only goal of the match.

Experience they say is the best teacher and im sure at 21 Saliba will still learn a lot going forward. The fans were the real VIPS when the cheered him on even after the own goal.
Absolutely.

I saw people blaming Ramsdale but didn't want to say anything because Saliba had a very good game.

Another rule is to never give a back pass directly at your goal, always to the sides.

For sure, very crucial to keep to the basics at all times.

This gallas hair style Jesus has on, at least about 5 of them have something similar to it.

Meanwhile good season, Arsenal started well and Man-U at the bottom. It can’t get any better than this.

Omo! That first goal is mad, rewatching it and it looks unreal. The fact that Jesus had to take-on Evans, dribbled past him, passed the ball to Martinelli who then passed the ball to Xhaka before giving it back to Jesus who had positioned himself to strike that wonderful ball passed the keeper is really something special to watch.

I hope the goal wins the goal of the month in the EPL.( I'm sure it will be Arsenal's goal of the month no doubt)

I don’t mind if you can add shale gas to the list.
I want those scum to end up relegated. I’ll go any length to see Lana1 face to face just to see the look on his face when that happens.

Good to have you back again.

I am not comparing Nketiah to Jesus, there are levels to football na.

I was just saying he has to be content with the crumbs that fall off the table because he is no competition for Jesus.

I am watching him and he has been hungry for goals. Sadly, he is playing for a poor team that will struggle to stay up.

The team must be really poor, they were winning 2-0 at half time, and now losing 4-2 despite being at home.

It was mostly Ramsdale's fault. White's positioning already put Saliba on pressure. Ramsdale had no business rushing out because Saliba was still in charge. The simplest thing to do was to nod the ball back to the goalkeeper to clear the ball.
