If these idiotic APC members had allowed Jonathan to remove PMS subsidy, we would have saved this country a lot of money.

The issue really is that under Mr "I don't know what you mean by subsidy," the payment for subsidy has spiralled by over 2000 % from what it was under Jonathan.

That is the same economics befalling the highly trumpeted train services to which we are plunged into huge debts.

Last week the tickets for Lagos - Ibadan was reduced in the face of cutting the number of rides due to high diesel costs. Clearly the NRC is struggling.

In the north the trains are grounded due to poverty induced crime.

The summary is clear.
Infrastructure is a tool for development where it is done properly. Where the expenditure largely goes to creating jobs and spuring local industry so that the
loans directly trigger economic wealth.

But you take so much money as credit and then give it out completely to foreigners and foreign companies while asking your people who are worse of to pay the loans, this is the result, poverty.

The airports are a barometer of the real economy, not the one based on propaganda by government.

And to be sure how badly this government has done in the face of COVID and Russia - Ukraine, note that air travel is expanding rapidly in other parts of the world post COVID.

As a matter of fact there was a report last week that a certain airline abroad had to tell its top management to hit the airport terminals and concourses to handle baggage because of lack of staff to handle the rush.

We clearly donot have a cerebral government so when the big bad wolf of globalization hits, our house built of straw is blown away.

Vote for capacity not sentiment folks, for there are many more pandemics and wars coming to shake the world. We want at leaders of actions, not excuses.
