The Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, William Ruto was earlier today, Monday, announced as the winner of the 2022 presidential election in Kenya, after narrowly defeating his closest rival, Raila Odinga to become the fifth president of the republic of Kenya since Independence.

After six days of delay in the announcement of results due to an alleged vote-buying claim by Raila Odinga’s camp, Mr Ruto, who polled 50.49 percent of the total votes cast, was declared as the winner of the election by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

And you are totally right but I prefer Sowore to Obi because of Obi's lies and he lies because he wants to win Election. Sowore has all the characteristics you mentioned above in favor of Obi and additionally Sowore is fearless and he's brave to take decisions....Nigeria needs iron hand

But if it is a competition for the young, there are much younger candidate than sowore. It is about changing the narrative from money politics to having competent candidates. Nigeria needs someone who is ready to go in the field and not someone who will sit as president while children/ others run the nation as they pleases.
