As a Kenyan in the diaspora, am so much ashamed of this outcome. This was the 5th time Raila Odinga was running. There was never a time he ran for elections and accepted the results. He’s been the reason for fights and bloodshed as a result of post-election violence. Even if it turned out to be true that there was rigging, it’s hard to believe because he’s always crying wolf. Like the story is told of the boy who was always crying wolf, when the wolf actually came nobody believed him. I didn’t care who became president though as long as Kenyans voted.

The new President elect has been the VP for 10 years. He fell out of favour with President Uhuru who is backing Odinga to succeed him. He ended up beating the President's anointed candidate. Do I need to spoon-feed you to connect the dots?
