izzou:You think America or any foreign country will just hold on to someone else’s money for this long and then suddenly tag it Abacha loot and release it to Nigeria has being the last owner ? Well personally I doubt that cos I’m sure these transactions have “legs” that can be easily traced . The issue I have with them however is keeping these monies in their financial system for this long and then acting like some benevolent sugar daddy ocassionally as they so please . Dem no try at all |

No matter what you make of Buhari’s government, and it’s been tragically uninspiring, the Second Niger Bridge is one of its successes. Let’s criticize it as fiercely as allowed by our laws, but playing down the project or attempting to deny them the credit is partisan silliness. Gimba Kakanda |

https://www.nairaland.com/7296736/these-obidients-everywhere-femi-fani-kayode I seem to agree with FFK. Anyone who still thinks the PO movement is all social media noise is living in Disney world. He likely won't win this coming election but his chances will be much higher in another 4 or 8 years. I was watching an interview of random people( I believe) conducted in Ibadan. Thirty seven people were interviewed. 12 said they'll vote for Tinubu, 21 for PO and 4 for Atiku. That says a lot. |

Theflint1:No big deal na…. It’s just a reversal of the Buhari-Osinbajo campaign promise where Buhari had plans to take care of security being the general he was and Osinbajo take care of the economy as the “egg-head “ he was portrayed to be . So u are having Bobo Chicago taking care of Economy since he allegedly made Lagos prosperous single-handedly and Shettima having fought Boko Haram as a governor in Borno is expected to know how to tackle security challenges ![]() |
