My car radiator was leaking and got overheated (temperature rose to the highest) , then I changed the radiator and after a while started seeing oil missed with water in radiator and coolant, then I was told the top gasket need to be replaced, but my problem now is after replacing the top gasket and resurface according to the mechanic, my car now produces white smoke, I don't know the cause, have taking it back to mechanic, he said maybe I will need to change my oil and filter, but am not convinced and some one said it go off after somedays, but I am very much concern. Please any solutions or is it normal |

You still have issues with your head gasket. White smoke from your exhaust is coolant or water being burnt. |

ollydejoe:1.it has been long you made service, so any new engine oil to the engine will react. The smoke will stop with time, next time never allowed your engine oil over used (2) some of your engine valves seal has problems or the rings has problems. But you didn't notice it |

ollydejoe:don't let your oil be overdue again it will lead to car smoke for sometime, ignore any advice of changing engine oil. Lastly keep on checking level of your engine oil if you notice it has drop from normal level within short period of time, check for leakage from oil C . If all your oil C are not leaking oil , that means your engine need rings or some valves seal has been damage and it can be replaced . If rings or valves seal has problems it can lead to car smoking |

ollydejoe:https://cartreatments.com/white-smoke-from-exhaust/ See link above. Is your coolant level dropping? You may have a warp cylinder head, cracked cylinder head or engine block. I am suspecting coolant leak into the combustion chambers |

ollydejoe:You might need to replace your mechanic this time around. It's either the heads were not properly grinded, or he used a defective gasket, or its installation error. |
