I remember when I was in yabatech, I did something like this the. I wrote waec during my second year. I was missing chemistry in my result and during the registration process for new student, the person who interviewed me told me that I would need to write waec before I finish, so I can make up for the chemistry that was missing.

You can be running a degree programme yet be running a diploma somewhere else esp when it's online.

Yea, for reasons best known to them. Their confirmation or denial will I believe make the case more open or closed depending on how it goes.

Again, I don't know whether the tribunal will hear the case because it is a pre-election matter.

Some uses neco to gain admission or nateb, ad while in higher institution may feel the need to write waec either to use it to process something or for another purpose. So i don't see any big deal here unless the results are fake. Sure he knows what his doing and he didn't wanna use old waec result or any previous record to avoid issue later

You can retake your WAEC while still in University. Some schools permit that.

It can happen in the final year.

Even here in the north many students from educationally disadvantaged areas are usually allowed to retake their WAEC while they have been admitted to degree programs.
You can graduate from school of medicine in September 2022 with May/June 2022 WAEC.

In advance world, you can get admitted due to your age and experience in some field. I guess he only came back for Waec cos of politics. Its not in place. So its good to go.

But the Tribunal won't handle it, the higher Courts can.

When the case of Eyitayo Jegede v APC was held wrt the issue of Buni.. the tribunal recused itself that yes, it is a Constitutional matter and there is some case there but it is outside of the powers of the tribunal.

The Appeal Court faulted the tribunal, that they should have given a judgement but alas, the Supreme Court insisted that the tribunal was right. Despite it is a Constitutional matter, the tribunal cannot handle a matter outside of its jurisdiction.

This just follows the reinforcement of Akinlade V Abiodun in 2019.

For the over-voting, I know the Tribunal has asked INEC to allow Oyetola's lawyers inspect materials and serve the 2nd respondent, Adeleke, by substituted means... And then Adeleke must respond to the summons within 21 days.

Some foreign schools do accept students for special learning, especially students whose learning/training falls outside the need-spectrum of the majority of their peers.

So schools do tailor made courses specially customized for individual students. I'm currently doing one. Education has gone beyond what people's gazette described or perhaps they are just feigning ignorant of the fact that you can be specially trained.

In any case, this is politics. Investigation is allowed. I do hope the governor elect is clean with his submission. It's up for the court to decide.
