How exactly has this disproved his point please?? A private company came up with a business idea that will impact the environment of Lagos state positively and submitted it to the government for approval, and government keyed into their idea.

Please how is this different from what the OP stated and what is obtainable everywhere cos some of you make it seem like there was no Lagos before Tinubu.

That the Lagos state government keyed into it is very commendable but it's not some Isaac Newton level genius type stuff like some of you push it as, abeg make we rest.

You mean his point that it had nothing to do with Tinubu?

Or the point that it was not Tinubu's government that reached out to experts for solutions, and same government approved the solution for implementation as a privately driven corrective and and explorative development?

You think anyone can just start adding to the landmass of a State without government partnership and without benefit to the government as the custodian of the people's commonwealth?

I have schooled the ignorant fellow with information retrieved from the website of the company itself, and i know it does not feel nice to be called out for ones folly.

Rest your hateful soul and vote Tinubu.

Contrary to the false notion that Tinubu and Lagos State government built Eko Atlantic City, the city is actually owned and financed by a private firm owned by a Lebanese investor called Gilbert Chagoury.

The project commenced in 2008, when Fashola was the governor and was commissioned during Ambode's tenure in 2016.

Tinubu supporters should stop accrediting other people's achievements to Tinubu.

He's also the owner of Eko hotels and suites.

Olodo...Lagos own 40% of eko hotel...

Eko Atlantic is government/ ppp arrangements.... Lagos government gave it to developer...chagoury and tinububare friend they Co own somany investment in Lagos and France ....

Which legacy project did Obi keyed into ? How many investors did he attract to Anambra for us to see today . At least what Tinubu started is there for all to see today and government is a continuum. Oga, tribalism aside Tinubu is light years ahead of Obi. We can all see and talk about what Tinubu started. Show us what Obi started.

Obi is your typical Igbo Criminal - trust them at your own peril
Peter Obi as a matter of urgency should
address these allegations because they're very weighty and I know a couple of them to be true

I got this on African History Archive

1. Those who knew Peter Obi will attest to the fact that he has been a drug dealer beginning from his days as an undergraduate at UNN. He was hardly attending lectures and only managed to graduate with a third class in Philosophy after spending 12 years in the University.

2. His brother in-law who incidentally is one of the hirelings used by him for his nefarious drug trafficking business is currently languishing in jail in far away London. This is the major cause of strain between Obi and his in-laws. It is on record that his closeness to Dubem Obazie was the because he Dubem served jail term for drug trafficking because of Peter.

3. Obi should explain his relationship with former Military Administrator, Governor lbim Princewill and Col Earnest Kizito Attah of Cross River State whom he helped as a conduit to fleece Cross River State government thus contributing to the under development of the state.

4. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra the
circumstances surrounding his father's
death which remains his best kept secret. Before then we can reveal that Obi's father was drowned to death by Obi's associates in the drug trade whom he short-changed in a business deal prompting the mafias to kill the old man whom they drowned bounded hands and feet with bricks round his neck.

5. Given the level of insecurity in Anambra state, "Saint" Peter Obi should explain how he expends his security vote since it is on record that he collects over 470 million naira per month as security vote (220 million naira from Local Government and 250 million Naira
from the state FAC accounts)

6. Just as Peter Obi professes his Catholicism for political expediency, we ask him to summon the moral courage and explain to Catholic faithful his relationship with the Olumba Olumba Obu (000) Cult sect where his wife is a known member. It is also on record that Peter Obi met the wife at a night club in Auchi. The lady had two children from two different men -an Albino and a Ghanaian. The affirmed Catholic is yet
to wed his wife in the church.

7. Obi is yet to explain the mystery behind the 250 million naira that was found in the possession of his aides. He is yet to produce the contractor and publish the contractual agreement that stipulates that this very contractor will be paid in cash and also a reference to any other known precedents. Not even the famous late Barkin Zuwo of Kano State paid contractors in cash.

8. Obi should explain why he has continued to loot the resources of the state using his brother, Ndibe Obi, Ejike Onwusogbulu and a certain Chidi Agbapu -a Lagos based stock broker as a conduit for money laundering while the vouths in Anambra remain unemployed;

9. Obi was elected governor on the platform of APGA and it is on record that he never convened an APGA meeting thereby destroying the entire party structure. Obi should explain to party faithfuls and loyalists why he destroyed the party;

10. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra what happened to the state local government allocations and why Anambra under Obi is the only state in Nigeria without elected local government officers in place?

First off, when some of you ignorantly make statements like tribalism apart, I wonder what you mean....for the umpteenth time, not everybody supporting Peter Obi is his tribesman.

As a private citizen he did excellently well, becoming a very successful business man, if it's easy rise in a banking system to own a major share and become it's chairman and chairman of a lot of big companies in Nigeira...

You guys like to downplay the success and make light of the achievements of other people.

He was a very wealthy business man even before his public life and did well in Anambra, I lived in Anambra before he came onboard and remember the brutality of criminals then, we could barely go out, this prompted the use of Bakasi boys most people in Nigeria know ...

During his tenure he fought criminality to a standstill, abolishing Bakasi boys through the federal government and using state security to fight criminality...

He moved Anambra from 26th in the country in terms of education to number 1, no be campaign..go and check it.

He won multiple awards from world Bank and WHO for being the best state to implement the millenium development goals in Nigeria, from health to human capital development to education because he aligned his government policies to the Millenium development goals... Google everything I have written to verify if you wish.

He might not be perfect but he has done excellently well both as a private citizen and public servant.

Whether Tinubu is better is subjective and from what I have noticed driven by tribal sentiments for some people...in the end, it's the electorates that will decide.

He built that sch from scratch that ended up winning an award as the best in Nigeria, award given by Buhari, before some people say Johnathan gave it out of bias.

Look at those tiny things you call schools. Compare that to the models schools Tinubu built while in office. You people know nothing. Compare the percentage increment in IGR under Tinubu and the one under Obi. Research how many general hospitals and Primary Health care centres Tinubu built compared to Obis own. Obis only achievement was in education which I agree to but what happens to economy, health, wealth creation - zero. Oga, you can never compare Obi to Tinubu. He didn't have to attend NBA conference. His works speak for him.
