I opened this thread about Resident Evil series because I don't know where to rant or pour out my feelings about the series.

I just finished the 8 episode of season 1 and to say that I'm put off is to say the least. Gosh!

I was searching through a movie channel on telegram earlier this week and I stumbled on it. I was like thrilled at it cos I knew how Resident Evil (the movie) was thrilling for me. I mean, I've seen all the Resident Evil movies and even played the game. So, I thought this should be an interesting one. I was curious not knowing what I'm in for.

After the first two episode, I was already being put off. I checked the review saw it has a very low review and they're considering ditching the second season.

I tell you, I'm more than displeased with the serie. The acting, the story, how it connects, it's just way below my expectation.

If you've seen the serie, please air your view and if you have a better serie, please suggest

I havent seen the series.

But most movies that are coverted to series are thrash.

Blade Series for example. Is thrashest trash.

If u wanna watch a series. Watch a normal series, not the one a movie was converted into.

The day they make Fast and Furious to a series, it becomes trash. And its because storylines n connections never flows with the original.

The resident evil movies were bad, but this series makes them look like cinematic gold by comparison.... Right from the trailer I already knew how bad it was going to be.... Also look out for Amazon's lord of the rings series "rings of power"... That one is going to be another sh!t show, a complete bastardization of Tolkein's work.

I've learnt my lesson.
I was just increasingly gutted at the show I progressed in it. I was hoping it'd get better along the line but omo, they just worsened it.
