That Gabriel goal is one of the reasons we sold Leno, he fumbles on aerial ball. I'm always afraid anytime a cross is coming into the box with Leno in goal . |

Nketiah deserves respect, he changed the dynamics of the game, he's unlucky not to score. |

Thank God we won. Arteta can now celebrate his 100th Match with the win. I really hope Zinchenko and Partey recover quickly... Especially Zinchenko. He has earned that LWB. We urgently need a solid RW to help Saka when he is not inform. He has not find his great form since the start of the season. COYG! We move! |

With Saliba and Gabu, we are a serious threat during set pieces. The way Saliba out jumped and muscled Leno in the air made it easy for Gabu to pounce. Ariwo ko! I am happy for this W, more than our previous ones. Drawing or losing this game after dominating the match would have been devastating to the psyche of the players. |

October is our real Month of fire baptism... We are playing 9 Matches and in the same month we are playing Spurs, Liverpool and City. The only positive here is that we are playing them at home. Hopefully we will survive with smiles. COYG!

Thoughts on the game 1.. Yesterday proved the maturity and development this team have grown both in Mentality and tactically. While I wanted us to win but I was always thinking "what if we concede first against this resolute Fulham team with a dogged defence and good keeper, how do we react"?. Well, we did it in a worst possible way and I love the way we reacted with the first one being i. Tactically— This game proves the reason why Ben White is preferred for a RB over Tomi as it helps us switch easily to a back 3 in order to pour more bodies in attack . Arteta proved ystdy how he's improved on this tactical side by ringing in the changes, introducing Nketiah for Tierney and switching to a 352 formation. This was a clear tactical pattern unlike last season where Arteta would just bring Nketiah, ESR and Pepe just for the sake of having attackers in the pitch to bring goals. Preseason have been good and Arteta maximized it to the fullest. Kudos to him!!. ii. Mentality — Who noticed how revved up arsenal players were after the we conceded the first goal? It was as if the boys were saying, "we can't lose this" and it certainly rubbed on Gabriel who went on to have a far better game after that mistake thereby resulting to a goal. Same situation last season and arsenal players would be passive. Arteta tactics helped but these boys certainly made it possible with their desire and that resulted in a quick response goal by Odegaard. 2.. Saka was more involved yesterday compared to the way he was the past 3 matches. Good link up with both Odegaard and White. Finally, I'm sensing he's now coming to his best. 3.. Elneny proved an able deputy to Partey ystdy. Quick one touch passes, always available for a pass and some progressive play forward. Even though his quality wasn't as Partey's but his overall play ystdy was very very commendable. Tierney on the other hand was good but you could see the vast difference between him and Zinchenko in our style of play. 4.. Ramsdale was excellent for us. It's good to always have a GK that can help prevent a goal when opposition finally beats the defence and Ramsdale is proving a very good security on that. No wonder the defence have so much confidence in him and it's good to see he rarely disappoints them. Would have been my Motm if not for the performance of Odegaard and resolute Saliba. 5. I love this new version of Odegaard— Odegaard 2.0 . Not only is he creative but he's looking to score more goals unlike last season where he'd be looking to pass instead of to take a shot. We have a gem in our hands.6.. Ben White is really growing in that RB role. I mentioned it last week that he improved in his attacking side last week compared to previous weeks and ystdy too was another good showing. I also love the maturity in his game even after having the yellow card and how he kept it clean but effective. Tomi might have time on the bench but at least we'll be safe in the knowledge that White is also playing very well. As for Xhaka, good luck to anybody that's planning to bench him ![]() 7.. I feel we're missing too many goal-scoring chances. Against Leicester and Bournemouth, we missed clean chances and in ystdy game we missed good chances that would have won us this game earlier enough. Off my head I can remember the Nketiah miss from the perfect up through ball from Odegaard just because Nketiah doesn't have a left leg. Nketiah and G.Jesus playing a weak shot straight to Leno and Saka missed chance. I hope we can start converting chances well enough but on the flip side it's good to see us create so many goal-scoring chances. That's a hallmark of a top team. Great start to the game as Always, great win, great comeback by both arsenal and Gabriel, Great 3 points!!! Hopefully Zinchenko and Partey will be back by next week Let's make it 5/5 against Aston Villa #Top of the table #COYG!! ![]() |

Roland17:Same here. If this comeback was against a Bournemouth side, I wouldn't flinch but against a Fulham side that's mostly resolute, Omo e sweet me well. E for no make sense to carry zero or one point after such domination cos of a stupid error from Gabriel |

ObaIgwe1:As long as say na our team B go play those Europa games, no problem. We just need our A teams to be ready for those weekend hot premier League games. Abegg, Partey and Zinchenko should please be available. Squad depth is really crucial... 1 or 2 more signings please especially a winger!! |

Am I the only one who saw Zinchenko almost being mistaken for pitch invader when he joined the boys to celebrate Gabriel's goal.? ![]() The steward was almost stepping out to go drag Zinch away before Somone obviously called her attention to the fact that he's an Arsenal player. |

Our arsenal ladies watched our game ystdy. I dunno whether this has happened before but that's the first time I'm witnessing such. If indeed it's the first time, then the togetherness that arsenal are really doing is enviable. At least, dem experience the boy's win ystdy in such an electric manner. Our fans are growing crazy and electric every passing week. The atmosphere dey ginger our boys sha. Hopefully, we can make Emirates a fortress, na so Liverpool take start ![]() |
