Pls do not withhold information from your employer, if you get there without updating them as per the pregnancy you COS will be withdrawn from you. It happened to someone.

There was a naija girl on Facebook....she got to uk and informed her employer that she pregnant. The employer said the lady never disclosed it and that will dom care it would be very difficult and withdrew the offer. This was 2 weeks after she came and lost her sponsorship

Legally I don't know if an employer is right to discriminate against a pregnant woman but I am just stating the story as it happened. I contacted her and we chatted and she made up her mind to return back to Nigeria and try again later when the baby born . She tried for a month to get another cos but couldnt. It was sad and very stressful. All that money spent and she was left with no income in UK.

Some comments on Facebook said she should sue or contact a lawyer. Legally you should not discriminate against pregnancy but hey this really happened so be careful

She can’t be given COS cos it can’t work. She is expect to come and work not with pregnancy. Pregnancy should be after 2 years of working with the company or so.

If she didn’t tell her employee now it will be bad because she might revoke her COS if the employee get to know after she get get into the uk and you both will have 28 days to leave the UK. Depend on how lenient the employee is tho

Please let her inform her employer. There was an aspect in one of the letters of offer I saw that the recipient claimed she was not pregnant.

If she informed her employer, her CoS might be delayed till after delivery and when the baby reaches some certain month, just a probability not sure sha.

If she paid they would have probably treated her differently by letting her resume after having her baby.

Best she informs them, they are not allowed to discriminate against pregnant women legally. Depending on type of work the employer could allow her come now or reserve her employment and ask her to come after delivery

you have to book for the TB test and I can help you with the international driver's licence and you get it within 5 working days

Received by DMC 3rd of August

Transferred to VAC 26th Of August Main applicant

Received by VAC 26th Of August main applicant

Received by DHL 26th Of August main applicant

Visa collected at DHL office today 29th August. Main applicant.

The dependant (her Husband) still at DMC. Visa not yet available for her husband.

Her husband still waiting for his visa
