Largely. Because regardless of how the presidential election turns out, whether Peter Obi wins or loses, the Obidients wouldn't turn out for the gubernatorial elections which comes after the presidential elections.

The people who would largely benefit from Peter Obi's momentum are the LP National Assembly candidates in Peter Obi/LP strongholds.

NNPP will not win Kano. APC will win Kano easily this time around because of the divided opposition. If Kwakwanso couldn’t defeat Ganduje in 2019 using the very strong PDP platform, he can’t achieve victory on the NNPP platform with PDP also in the race.
