NORTHERN NIGERIA: a heat apocalypse has engulfed the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The raging wildfire has forced millions of the party’s members to decamp to the People’s Democratic Party for shelter. The monstrous heatwave, which was triggered by 'Sai Mun Bata Wuta', a campaign that seeks the elimination of the APC from the North, is the largest political cleansing ritual that wants a positive climate change in the region. Sai Mun Bata Wuta is a title of a song for Atiku Abubakar by Nazir M Ahmad Sarkin Waka. In the song, Nazir criticised the APC regime over the insecurity and poverty bedeviling Nigeria. He called on Nigerians to set the ruling party ablaze and enthrone the one who'll bring light to the country. It became an instant hit in the North with residents burning African brooms, the symbol of APC, each time the song is played. In fact, it has become some sort of 'fire ritual'. According to some residents, over 50 million bundles of brooms have been burnt. 'I fear there may be an acute shortage of brooms if the sai mun bata wuta ritual continues', said Abdullahi, a resident of Katsina. 'Because the rate at which people burn brooms here is becoming alarming.', he added. In Kano, a food vendor, simply known as Mama Ada, lamented the scarcity of Ijabe, a type of cook broom, in the state. 'I stopped preparing Ewedu due to the sai mun bata wuta campaign. Almost every hour, brooms are being burnt to ashes. Even those selling (brooms) are burning them whenever they hear that song. I understand the anger against the APC misrule. But it's affecting us that are into Ewedu. Most of my Yoruba customers are complaining. Tinubu was supposed to have the middle belt votes join south west then he can win but he foolishly gun for Muslim Muslim, now the northern Muslim will not vote for him over Atiku, the middle belt will not vote for him because of Muslim Muslim ticket. asanausana91: No matter how he plays the card, he will not win. Considering his integrity and mental strength, he lacks the capacity to lead a complex and heterogenous State as Nigeria. The Tinubu of 1999 is not the same man today. Psychologically and physiologically he is gone. The people that want to takeover the affairs of Nigeria are the ones deceiving him, just like the case of Buhari.
