I need your help. My left ear is clogging and making echo sounds. I can’t sleep at night because of the echo noise. It seems there is blockage, fluid, or content there. I did the normal regular swallow, chewing , blocking the nose while swallowing saliva routing . It didn’t work.

I went to see an ENT. They gave me anti-biotics but it hasn’t worked yet. Does anyone (doctors) or someone with similar experience have any idea or know what I can do to push this clogging feeling in my ear out ?

Maybe you use earphones a lot. I have read the story of a guy with similar complaint and the doctors say that he's suffered irreversible damage to his eardrums caused by loud noises from earphones and he will have to live with the nonstop eerie sound he's hearing for life. The guy posted has posted a video on YouTube saying he'd accepted his fate and warning people to avoid using earphones with noise cancellation feature. Op please see ENT specialist ASAP.

I don’t use earphone at all. The ENT checked my ear drum. She said nothing was wrong with it. I just need help on how relieve the cloggy and echo..

Exposure to too much noise from other sources may also be implicated. I am not a medical expert but I remember as a kid when we had earache our parents used to drop palm nut oil ( different from palm oil) in our ears and it worked. Even recently, I went to buy eardrops for my daughter and the pharmacist recommended I used olive oil instead and advised that I shouldn't used anti-biotics- based eardrops.
