Moreover, Mondays is not ideal for rallies been the first work day of the week, citizens have to fend for themselves and families first.

Assuming but not conceding that you are right, the reason is simple. Government cannot guarantee security for the rally. It's better to avoid trouble.

Look at the flip side. If the rally was to hold on Monday and nobody was attacked, people like Reno will still say it's because the unknown gunmen were in support justifying their failed assertion that Peter Obi is IPOB. If people lose their lives through attacks, they will still blame Peter Obi for being insensitive to risk people's lives.

Thirdly, if you notice, other states have been holding their rallies mostly on Saturdays. The organisers looked at the possibilities and opted for Sunday so that businesses will not be affected.

That rogues have taken over the reins of security in many parts of the country is clearly a failure of government and not the people. In many parts of the north, bandits do not allow farmers to go to their farms. Nobody has blamed ATIKU or kwankwaso for that. Schools have closed and people are living in fear. It is a failure of government and that is why we want a better deal for all.

Blaming Peter Obi for IPOB and not blaming kwankwaso and ATIKU for bandits and boko Haram is double standards. Many people in ATIKU's home state are living in IDP camps, many people in Shetima's state are displaced. El rufai wrote a secret memo to the president that bandits have formed a parallel government in many parts of his state. Yet, a Peter Obi that left government for close to a decade is being made a scape goat.

Reno is a pastor and I do not need to tell you the kind of Pastor he is at this point.

I took out time to respond to you seeing that you SINCERELY see reasons with the post and needs to SINCERELY consider the flip side too. Other idiots will be answerable to the various vawulence combatants available.

We love our markets too.
And putting the rally on a Monday is no more a way of showing love for Peter Obi,, but a way of seeking the attention of IPOB.
But IPOB is too little to worth our attention naa.

It now seems that there are some unscrupulous people in Obi's camp that are working towards bringing this man down. If they succeeded in turning it into tribal issue, I doubt if Obi can even come fourth.

Please this is not a tribal issue. Any Nigerian looking for a better future should vote Obi regardless of tribe.

If Obi's camp allowed themselves to be played into playing tribal politics, it will definitely be a sad ending. Obi's vice is from the north for Christ sake. Why don't we all see Obi as a Nigerian and not an Easterner.

Obi supporters are beginning to divert themselves. It is better everyone is called to an order now!
