Few weeks ago, I created this thread asking for what I could do for anyone to earn money because of my situation.

Some people contacted me and all that but it didn't really make any headway. However what made me create this thread was someone contacted me on whatsapp and said I should help him design the cover of his book he wants to publish on Amazon kdp ( I'm a graphic designer).

I was very happy atleast i could solve some problems. After reviewing the details he sent about his book and sending him pictures of my previous works. I told him the price. This guy just told me off and said he was no longer interested. In my mind I was thinking maybe it was because of the pricing which I slashed because I really needed the money.

This guy just blocked me without any reasonable explanation. Why are some people like this? Because honestly I don't understand.

He owes you no explanation to be honest and sometimes silence is better than getting an actual response. He probably didn't like your work, hence, the reaction.

He does owe me an explanation. He didn't say my work was bad or anything. He didn't even negotiate the price I gave him? After wasting my time (I can never get it back) At least an explanation on why he doesn't need my service again would have suffice than outright blocking.

The desperation (permit me to use the word) to get a client is why you're concerned about what a client chose to do with his inquiry. By the time you begin to get tens to hundreds of inquiries per day, you wouldn't even notice who blocked you and who didn't.

And to say he wasted your time just shows that you're still new to the business world. What the man did is what they call inquiry/enquiry. It is his choice to go ahead and negotiate or not.

Alright, we learn everyday. I really pray to have multiple clients let me leave trenches cos things are hard right now and the economy isn't smiling.

In business people will use u and take u for granted when u appear to be at their mercy... Try dey package urself cos nobody need to know if hunger dey wire u or sapa do u tie neck. Use ur hunger face the hustle... not everyone wants u to make it, some prefer u keep begging for crumbs even with ur potential. Create a platform on all social media and showcase ur works. Sometimes hunger is the best tool for a hustler. Be wise

He was never interested in my work in the first place. Just playing around with me. I was thinking he contacted me because of his Goodwill after seeing my thread. Anyways thanks for your time.
