Abdu81:Nothing Goes for nothing. You guys started insulting the sw and the person of Tinubu the moment he indicated interest in contesting for president even b4 obi jumped ship. You are a liar, a very definition of lie. You expect Tinubu's supports ti keep quiet why you guys go on the offensive against him. It is tit-for-tat. The only candidate that has suffered the most is tinubu, you guys have photoshopd him wee wee on himself, being held to stand, called him 89,98yrs, tagged him bobo Chicago and the list is endless. If his supporters are not issue based and mature there would have been pockets of violence everywhere . How people tell lies n maintain a straight face beats me. |

Oga you're not normal.. Which young igbos are you talking about. Now an average young Igbo man does not benefit anything from tinubu, he does not sponsor nor feeds them, it is safe to say that they have no idea that he exists. The only problem everyone has with tinubu is that he enthroned someone that made the country a mess, now he wants to take over from him, was he not advising the president while he was ruling or giving him ideas on how to make the country better. |

Can a Yoruba man or Hausa man go to ibo land and be ruling them? Is it possible? So because Tinubu is ruling in the Southwest Lagos specifically now , devil is gentler than him huh? Thank God that you guys even have a presidential candidate this time around and not just, be bickering, weeping and gnashing your teeth online and on Twitter everytime a Hausa or Yoruba guy gets elected as the president Let hausa guys vote for their son, yoruba guys vote for their son, You too vote for Peter Obi and let's see if he will become the President? Twitter people, either they will be going to shop on election day or they will be going to BIAFRA! I have never seen any nation doing sit at home on Monday. Even Holy bible said no food for lazy man. It is well! |

Christian36:In their hatefilled, bitterness ridden and deceit laden hearts they said Igbos didn't vote Obasanjo, that Igbos voted PDP. Some even went as far as claiming that Igbos voted for Obasanjo because they knew he was in the surest party inclined to win and I ask them: Why didn't Yorubas who are epitome of love, accommodating and caring vote for Ogbonnaya Onu, Dave Umahi, Ken Nnamani, Emeka Nwajiuba or even Rotimi Amaechi that are in sure banker ruling party APC to show that they are truly the epitome of love, accommodating and sophistication they usually claim to be? At least it is fair and just for them to support one Igbo man just as Igbos supported Obasanjo after Yoruba have produced Obasanjo and now Osinbajo for 16 years. Watch their next deceptive and heartbreaking reaponse, wait for it because they are good in twisting history to suit their need at every time |

Benwallt:Yorubas rejected Obasanjo, yet Igbos massively supported him in 1999, so? |
| Re: Untold Reasons Why Most Young Igbos Dislike Tinubu by franchasofficia(op): 7:45am On Aug 29, 2022 |
Benwallt:Even before 1999, Yorubas have been screaming that AN IGBO MAN WILL NEVER RULE NIGERIA, and they wickedly believe that after North rules and its the turn of the South, that it should come to the Yorubas and if after Yorubas have done several tenures it comes back to the South again, it should go to Niger Delta because of crude oil to avoid them cutting off the crude oil making Yoruba and North to die on top Nigeria matter. To an average Yoruba man, Igbos don't deserve to rule Nigeria yet when Igbos seek to secede from Nigeria, Yorubas are always the first to attack and call them derogatory names, isn't that the highest form of inhumanity of man to fellow man? Ordinarily, should any Yoruba man or woman be contesting for 2023 Presidential elections if Yorubas were honest and just in their reasoning? Even as some respected Yoruba elders and statemen are shouting it that it is the rightful turn of Igbos to produce the next President, instead majority of young Yorubas who ought to be the ones championing a new united South that will be pioneered by love, sincerity and inclusiveness are the ones insulting the Yoruba elders telling them the truth that it is Igbo's turn to produce the next President but later they will say Yorubas respect their elders just because they prostrate on the floor to greet them, but will never respect the counsel of their elders. Nature will reward us all for our deeds here on earth, good or bad, that's my prayer. Whatever Igbos wish Yorubas may it befall them and whatever Yorubas wish Igbos and Igbo land, may such befall them! That's all |

franchasofficia:I can tell you that from your observations above, I can describe them as non-rational and completely inconsistent and inconsiderate. First on godfatherism, why are igbos having paracetamol for someone else headache? Yorubas are not complaining about him being godfather. He is not planning on being godfather for Igbo. So why the hatred for something that does not concern you? And I know why igbos hate godfatherism. The reason is because they hate collective leadership. It’s not in their culture. They don’t have kings whom they pay allegiance to, that’s why they hate anyone claiming leadership over them. On corruption, this is where they got it wrong completely. Majority of corrupt leaders are from Igbo land. From former governors you mentioned to former senate presidents, to ministers like Dieziani etc. As you noted, no politician is a saint but to say that Tinubu is corrupt as opposed to your governors past and present in the east is a big slap on the face. Do you hate your leaders for being corrupt like you hate Tinubu? There’s no federal might protecting any of them. Even Orji Kalu has a case with EFCC and his always winning election. So where is he being hated? If Tinubu was corrupt Lagos economy would not have flourished under him. He would not have made profitable investments in companies like Econet for the state. Corruption does not bring development. If he was corrupt, Lagos would not have been developing far better than all the states in NIGERIA. If he was corrupt the IGR of Lagos would not have surpassed that of any other state in NIGERIA. If he was corrupt he would not have placed very good hardworking governors in Lagos after he left. Corruption does not give good leadership. As for tribalism, again you get it completely wrong and off the mark. Tinubu was the first Governor to appoint igbos in his cabinet. He was not forced to do that and he did not need to do that. Joe Igbokwe is his right hand man for decades. Akabueze was taken from the east as a best brain to help Tinubu. If he was a tribalist like Obi was, he would have ejected or make life difficult for all Igbo traders in Lagos, or even eject them like Obi did for northerners and Yorubas in his regime. Tinubu could have done that. He could have prevented them from doing business. He could have prevented them from employment in state civil service like Obi did in Anambra. He could prevented their children from free education and refused to pay WAEC fees for their children. These are tissues of lies from hell, that Tinubu hates igbos. The first winner of Spelling B competition was an Igbo boy. I saw his interview on TV recently. He stated the assistance given to him by Tinubu as one day Governor etc made him what he is today. His success was unbelievable to himself. If Tinubu hates Igbo, why did he support the young Igbo boy to stardom? OP stop peddling lies. You are even making the hatred some Yorubas have for Igbo to be worse by telling lies against our leader. If you hate leadership, we love it in our culture. You claim that he brought Buhari, as if Buhari is a devil to you. Buhari is a devil to you and he has given you second Niger bridge within 7 years, while PDP which you love refused to give you the bridge in 16 years. Many federal roads in the east have been rehabilitated in 7 years, more than the 16 years of pdp. He has given you free and fair electoral systems better than PDP years. He does not interfere in your elections like PDP presidents used to do. Your PDP and APGA governors have access to him unlike in pdp era. He renovated Zik mausoleum which none of your PDP presidents did. Most of the insecurity in your place is caused by IPOB. But IPOB never agitated when Jonathan was in power. But when feeding bottle was taken away from your corrupt leaders, they decided to sponsor insecurity to destabilise his government. Therefore, the 7 years of Buhari is far better than 26 years of pdp despite Buhari’s shortcomings. Finally, you argue that the Igbo see the loss of Jonathan as painful, yet you claim they hate corruption, what a paradox? Why did people vote Jonathan out? Was insecurity and corruption not the major reasons? Is Jonathan regime not corrupt? Where is Dieziani Maduekwe today? Do you know how much she steal under the watch of Konathan? Why was Kema Chikwe not removed after certificate scandal? Do you that Adeosun finance minister resigned for lesser offence under Buhari? Did you not see how Sanusi was removed for exposing the corruption in NNPC by Jonathan? Waa Sanusi not vindicated based on exposure of Dieziani by EFCC and her subsequent escape to U.K.? And yet, you say igbos hate corruption? I can see that!!!. If igbos hate corruption why do they always vote corrupt party PDP and left APGA that was created by Ojukwu? Why do they complain of Lagos state development but keep quiet with what’s going on their various states of origin? Finally, I can see that igbos need to search their conscience and tow the path of moral rectitude, avoid hatred for development and governance, avoid tribalism and corruption. They must support good leadership everywhere. They must not poke nose into other people’s affairs and they must respect and cooperate with their hosts wherever they are. |

Abdu81:When will some of you Igbos gain adult sense and reasoning capacity? Did Awolowo go and kill millions of Igbos with his hands? Nigeria was at war with Igbos. A war Nigeria did not want but you egotists started. Awolowo, like many others like OBJ and Adekunle etal, did what they had to do. Secondly, what do you people think war is? Something you declare rashly only to be handed chocolates and hot jollof rice meals by the other side? This is why you people will always act rashly, as with your current flirtation with Kanu and IPOB, only to have serious regrets you will always try and blame on everyone else but yourself once severe repercussions arrive for your thoughtless actions. All of you, wherever you are to be found in the world, can never accept responsibility for the repercussion that comes from your own action. You don't accept that "charity begins at home" either. Those are ignoble qualities that is common to Igbos and the sort that will always and forever undermine you. No greater show of Igbo hypocrisy and gaslighting of others than OP claiming Igbos hate Tinubu because of corruption whereas Igbos parade the most unproductively corrupt leaders in Nigeria, by far, today. These guys are winning re-election in ala Igbo and, like Orji Kalu, nursing greater political ambitions. Igbos don't care to take them to task. Yet it is Tinubu who has created the most socio-economically developed and secure State in Nigeria deserving of their ultimate hatred. Jokers. |

drlateef:Great post and great closing conclusions. Yet they will never listen because each and everyone of them is incapable of critical self-analysis. When something goes wrong for an Igbo he is automatically looking for an 'outsider' to blame and attack. This is the reason they are suffering hideous misrule today in Abia only to wake daily to attack Tinubu and Sanwo Olu while they go to the polls to re-elect their oppressors like Ikpeazu, about to finish a second term, and Ekweremadu who has been in the Senate for like 50 years now. Lol. Comical people. In an aberrant way. |

franchasofficia:What is wrong if the Ndigbos have a united front and consult relevant sides on the need to project an igbo president for once and see how it pans out. You talked about Yoruba this yoruba that against the Igbos. Have you see or seen where the yorubas converge just to delibrate on how to hate and spite Igbos. It is an individual thing but rubbed on the entire yorubas. Meet and average yoruba man he will tell you why we should have and igbo as president for a change. In a situation whereby a position comes n you have 10s of people jostling for it from the same region other regions won't take them seriously. If LP has been selling ideas and prospects to Nigerians and shift the focus from Tinubu, a whole of us will see reasons to galvanized support for the party and its candidate because we are all tired. If we continue like this neither sides will have it. The power will go back to the North and in Atiku, meehn! It will be too messy. We can keep wishing ourselves bad things, it is we outside the corridors of power that will suffer it. |

franchasofficia:You can't compare Nigeria of 1999 to today's Nigeria that has been badly balkarnised and fragmented on religious and ethnic lines. Who told you that me as a person won't vote for an igbo man. Should Okadigbo reincarnated and contest election against my father, I will vote him. |

Dsalvo:Awolowo was the brain child of the Nigerian civil war blockade of the Biafra territory. Millions of igbos died of hunger because of the blockage. When Gowon rejected the idea of the blockade because of its consequences on his country men and christian brothers. Awolowo convinced the army general that every thing is acceptable in warfare. And so the blockage started in 1968. Over three million igbos died not of bullet but because of starvation, most of this are children and women. Awolowo had planned a total annihilation of the Igbo race, but general Gowon had to stop when it became obvious to him that Awolowo was out for genocide, and so in 1970 he recalled the Nigerian armies from the battle field. But Awolowo was not done, as the then minister of finance he ensure that all monies belonging to every Igbo man was seized, to impoverish the Igbo race for all eternity. However God have another plan. And here we are today. The same battle tinubu with his Muslim brothers are fighting against the IGBOS today, but this time politically. As always God will always have his plans. The IGBOs will never avange. Vengeance belong God. And he shall avenge. But never again will such happen in our eyes. |
| Re: Untold Reasons Why Most Young Igbos Dislike Tinubu by Nobody: 9:55am On Aug 29, 2022 |
Abdu81:Lol. Let's even indulge you and assume the garbage you claim about Awolowo is tenable since most of us were not born then and were not living eye witnesses to events during the Civil war. Yet even your fellow Igbos, at least the few who are sane amongst them, should reprimand you for the nonsense below. The same battle tinubu with his Muslim brothers are fighting against the IGBOS today,So Tinubu is "fighting against" Igbos today, with his "Muslim brothers", after all he has done to empower, support and shelter Igbos? I hope sensible Yorubas are reading and learning to note Igbos are incorrigible haters, ingrates, malevolent usurper and covetous bigots |

Alrighty. please do equity, fairness and justice apply in the southern political sphere? No, never. equity is that power must remain in the yoruba land when it comes south. That's what tinubu and his cohort believe. Don't worry igbos will clapping, jumping and wining with him. They are zombies aren't they? |
