Lagos state fire service came to the rescue because Eleyi of Ogun state has refused to equip the newly built fire stations in Ogun state. Infact there's a newly built Ogun state fire station directly opposite the location of this fire incident but there's no single functional fire truck for any emergency..for me,it is safe to say Ogun state is cursed governance wise since 1999 till date because nothing seems to work in that state

they have 2 newly built ones, one at opic/Kara , another one directly opposite this fire incident (car park C) but lack every basic equipment to make it functional
