They can't that guy na beast
Andersen is 6ft 4 and 89kg
Where did that get him
Anyone going one on one with him should just slide tackle him for the team if not
The problem with Man city na dat their Midfield sha. If na only defence to face Halaand I no go fear.

If our Midfield and attack can stand up to theirs the way we did on Jan, I'll have no problems about our defence dealing with Halaand one on one

One can have both weight and height and still not know how to use it. Saliba has both and he knows how to use it. That's the difference. Anyway, I'm looking forward to that match and duel.

Saliba vs Haaland

Heaven knows I don't believe that injury ish sha. I just believe it's rotation purpose and to keep Zinchenko and Partey fresh and strong especially against upcoming Man u. I'll believe this injury ish if I didn't see both, yes both, start against Man u.

Also for Elneny, why I believe he's not of Partey's quality and that big clubs will win us arguably with him starting (aside Liverpool and Manchester city which will be certain), I still feel he's very good against the small teams and that's the teams we're mostly meeting every week. It's a good thing he played against Fulham and for the first time in a long while my mind did not skip that Partey was not in a lineup cos I knew how important Elneny was last season. What we just have to do is to manage Partey efficiently as he's injury prone and I believe this are the sort of games to do that. Elneny might not be a world beater but he's a good squad depth who isn't causing rancour about not starting while bringing in a good performance when called upon. That's the kind of squad depth one should have especially against small teams and Tbh he did well to me on Saturday.
That's why I want us to get berge if partey is injured and we have big teams lining up in October
To be fair we don't need tielemans ATM maybe next season but with xhaka form and improvements I don't think so
As for winger I watched Neto yesterday abeg we don't need him we should get podence or gakpo instead since Anthony is going to man u

which club does berg plays for? Still Sheffield United or has he moved?

Lol, in terms of Neto and gakpo, I'll prefer Neto 10times over. I don't know about podence and his injury wahala sha and weda we've overcome it. Rumor sef is saying we're almost out of Neto deal. So fingers crossed who is the winger we might buy before end of Thursday.

Arteta for some reason values Sambi as Xhaka deputy so we might not even get Tielemans sef

Las las, with the crazy fees we seeing upandan, to slap 50m on him no bad. I'm also relishing he switching or being played as a winger. Just some sharpening and technique left to complete it. He has the runs and eyes for a pass already.
He actually plays as a wingback which fits him perfectly. He is not that good defensively but can stretch the wings with ease and pace. If he can develop his defensive part of his game he will be very good.

I prefer Podence also because he plays exactly like Hazard except that he's injury prone and not too good for squad depth for a team like Arsenal that is not being protected by officiating crew.

Neto is also a fine player, EPL experienced, plays both wings, physically fit and looks deadly.

I don't know why people don't really rate Odoi like that. grin

He's actually good only you don't rate him
I can assure you in the next 2 years he will blow pass lonkonga
My only fear is big clubs will start toasting him soon with his performance at Marseille
You think he was our problem last season when sambi is the major reason we dropped points
Even arteta and the lads praised tavarez alot in AON while nketiah criticized sambi for been too comfortable not playing or uping his game

I don't rate him as a full back because of his defensive weakness which as a defender is more important than his attacking prowess. Like I said, he is doing well in Marseille because he is deployed as a wingback which fits him perfectly. Arteta does not use a wingback in his major tactics hence Tavares does not fit in. He has to develop the defensive part of his game to come back to Arsenal.

As for Lokonga, he even had more potentials than Tavares before joining us. He was his club's captain which tells a lot about him. Arteta wanted him to deputise for Partey in a role he is not too comfortable with. He is not a CM or DCM as some will call it. Now that he is being viewed as a backup 8, his stock has also risen. He is the reason why we are not going for Tielemans. That means saving us over 30m.

Finally to avoid any doubts, as it stands now, I rate Lokonga more than Tavares in terms of talent and potentials. You will see what I mean by the time we start Carabao cup or Europa League.

No disrespect to elneny but if we want to be taken serious we need another DM because city, lfc will roast us with elneny
We should go for sander berge we were all over him last season I don't know why we went for viera this season
We should let tielemans see if his contract and sign him for free in January
Sander berge and a winger will be good for this team
Agent odegaard can help us with berge
By next season we should be looking for partey replacement I am tired of his injuries abeg I don't blame him though he has played his prime in Spain
And he too like sex, you can't mix sex and football together your waist will suffer
Elneny is not going to give us what Partey gives. But he is decent as a backup and showed it on Saturday. If we are going to get a like for like quality as Partey then it will cost us huge money, over 50m. We should be grateful for Elneny covering up in games like this and hope that he will give a decent performance if Partey as absent for the big games.

The only reason I may advocate for another signing (as if I care about the Kroenkes) is if Partey spends more than 40% of our matches on the treatment table.

Who was sent out on loan to learn?

Who did we spent 32m to get a replacement for?

Don't ask us, ask Arteta and Edu who was our problem last season.

I don’t much to say to you cause you rate Lokonga over Tavares even when the former spent most of last season on bench..
The matches he managed to start, we went on losing streak before Arteta had to pair Elneny (who was almost forgotten) and Xhaka to get better results.

Even Zichenko that was bought is better in attacks than defensive and that’s why the left wing is more effective than the right wing.

You didn't answer my questions. undecided so let me leave it at that.

By the ways I'd be the happiest on this thread if he becomes a Roberto Carlos. They know me here as one who defends our players a lot especially Iamoyindamola undecided

.

Elneny played total rubbish against Fulham.
He could even drive the ball forward even just once after we conceded.
Yet last season preseason game, he was playing like a possessed midfielder.
Arteta should give him a talking or hair dryer.
He was the worst player on Saturday.
He should go and learn how to move forward.
I strongly recommend Zincheko for Partey deputy.
I know what this guy can do.

I was referring to Andersen not Haaland. A guy may be huge, fast and tall yet still unable to impose himself on a player. Fofana is taller and has more weight but you saw how Martinelli use am catch cruise grin

Check Jesus versus Evans too when he received a pass from Ramsdale.

That's what I'm trying to say.
Haaland vs Saliba will be exciting.

Then I replied with haaland is taller thus having advantage
Even in a physical battle the taller opponent have an edge no matter how strong the shorter is

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang was the victim of a violent robbery last night, when four men broke into his home, beating him & threatening him & his wife with a firearm.

Omo, just seeing this now. I hope all is well with him and his family. Hopefully, they stay strong and come out better
