Most Nigerians think all police officers are useless just because of the bad eggs among them.

The West bare much responsibility for this. The West is like that grandfather who is the paragon of patients and benevolent smiles when the grandchildren are around. He forever admonishes the grandchildren's parents when they discipline the kids. Every second word from his mouth is, 'leave them alone now!' Yet as a parent himself his tools of discipline were the koboko, blade razor and pepper.

African citizenry can sometimes act wild, stupid and unruly because they know the West is watching. I saw news of Sierra Leoneans rioting and burning things down. One rioter was shouting at the top of her lungs that they don't have freedom of speech

Police in most countries I've been to will you along lonely roads or at odd hours and offer to drop you off at your house. If your car breaks down at lonely corner, they will mount guard for you. The other day, one waited for 3 hours at night to ensure that the car got fixed successfully.

Nigerian police see you at an ungodly hour or lonely road, the next thing on their mind will be how to extort you, rob you, murder you or frame you up. Very devilish set of people. I hate them

Some guys were remanded in Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison in Lagos today,
while Boko Haram Terrorists and Bandits were remanded in a Medium Security Prison in Abuja.
Now, the question is;
Fighting a policeman and committing terrorism, which one is more of a major offense than the other

But the first say you step your foot on Nigeria, even from the Airport, you will encounter bad cops trying to solicit bribes. This you will encounter everyday you step out from your house.

Very good. You don't assault a law enforcer in any civil society. The cop was smart, the assaultee was dumb..despite the fact that he faulted by taking one way and was caught. The cop was even carrying a guy,but never even tried to raise it. Now that's a good cop. All u one wayers,continue.This country must be great again

It's an offense to fight with an officer of the law. I watched the video and I was just smiling at the number of months if not year those guys are going to stay in that mess called a prison.

They assaulted a uniformed cop and you expect a long investigation?

This is what the cops call an open and shut case.

Police need to start calming down oh. All the times innocent citizens get robbed and brutalized by police, judges didn't remand officers.

Every blessed day at any given roadblack or junction, thousands of Nigerians are being harassed and bullied, yet ony a couple officers are recorded, and we're lucky sef if they are called to book.

I see these people as heroes, but of course government and many others want to keep Nigerians docile. They won't address the issue of police brutality... until we do endsars pt 2
