I will be so angry if those guys arent punished. Very useless set of people.
Just because some bad heads are in th NPF doesn't mean we should assault them whenever they are in the line of duty. If those guys don't spend a minimum of 6 months in prison then NPF officials don't have sense.
I'm happy at this update anyway. Buju should have been served such punishment too

It's high time we balanced this. As Much as we applaud the police when they dismiss erring officers, we also need to reciprocate it when they discipline offenders. Bottom line is, before you start bringing out your phones to record, make sure YOU ARE ON YOUR RIGHT.

but Wait oo... Come to think of it, assuming one of them has a visa an already booked his flight for next week/month. Imagine spending the next 6 weeks for maximum prison for that matter... Na so village people go just dey use him matter drink palmwine.

Make we dey do jeje out there oo.

But nothing would have been done if it was the police officers that assaulted the four men.
Double standards. undecided undecided

Some police apologists are already waging tongues. So I need to explain my view better for the honest thinkers.

how many of such cases of police brutality/extortion are properly addressed?Fair judgment only get served in less than 10% of the cases, let's not even talk about the ones that couldn't get to the court of public opinion (Social media) cos only 2% of those get solved without bias.

Out of the many cases of police wrongdoings that innocent Nigerians witness daily, it's only in one or two cases that the victims would be able to get justice. So, how exactly will any sane individual want me to jubilate at the few cases that can aptly be acknowledged as isolated events.

O ga o. I just saw the video and completely shocked at the unruly behaviour of those guys against the police officers.

Just because of ordinary phone, those young guys were actually struggling with police officers holding guns and not even worried of being shot from accidental discharge of the gun.

They really should thank their stars while cooling off in Kirikiri. smh

Good.

Fighting an armed man on duty is totally wrong can you do that to a soldier at checking point, had it been the officer fired and end up killing the four of them we will ask for their head, we Nigeria's claimed there's no security in Nigeria but we always failed to follow protocol.

shocked

the case was adjourned till October 2, 2022. By then, they will have spent over 1 month eating watery beans. Chai. If you don get issue with Nigerian police before, you go know what's up. cheesy

The detention was intentional (no bail). The adjournment was intentional. Those guys will spend probably at least 6 months there. The passed their boundary.
