RamseyKush:Show ASUU demands maybe unreasonable and unrealistic. Government has met other conditions of ASUU.The main issues in contention now is the payment system and salaries for work not done. At about February there was University strike in UK too but every lecturer that took part signed an undertaking not go get paid while on strike but ASUU member want go eat their cake and still have it...they should take the forfeiture of salary as the price to pay for saving the educational sector. They got paid for not working for 9 months because of strike in 2020....now its 6 months in 2022 . If ASUU insist on getting paid for those months they didn't work they are not serious and should be take to court. Enough of ASUU impunity. THE BLAME IS STILL THE GOVERNMENT'S but ASUU too should be responsible and REJECT pay for work not done |

I totally support ASUU. These LAZY Nigerian Youths need to come out and peacefully demonstrate! They think a beautiful and prosperous country comes on a platter of gold? Some of us fought the evil man called Abacha for years while in university to enjoy this democracy that these youths lazily enjoy today. If the youths cannot fight for their future, maybe they also deserve the rot. We in our 40s and 50s have tried. It’s time for the current youths to also take the bull by the horn! Instead of most of them engaging in touting, betting, 419, prostitution and begging for stipends. |

This is what you get when you make someone that doesn’t have secondary school cert president. And some people that still can’t reason beyond ethnic lenses want make the same mistake again with someone that didn’t even pass through elementary class worse still with fragile health conditions that he can barely walk on his own Some people are really cursed! If you are graduate or still an undergraduate or have intentions of going to university and you still support APC.You seriously need mental examination. |

Don’t mind this Nigerian making excuse for a clueless, wicked & irresponsible government.Buhari refused to cut the extravance of his government and family, yet he wants Nigerians to sacrifice?! Not a single presidential aircaft in a fleet of 11 has been sold since Buhari took over, instead Buhari wastes resources allowing his family & cronies to use the presidential aircrafts for private functions! Jagabanofafrica:abegiii 1.1 trillion is too much but you were alive and your ears and eyes were working when some politicians single handedly bought presidential forms for 100 million and it was as though it was 100 naira.if we gather all the 100 million from various Politicians that dropped such money,Shey E no go reach 1.1 trillion? These Politicians are sociopaths and need iron hand because they are completely narcisstic and only invest in what they consider important to them |

| Re: ASUU Declares Indefinite Strike, Plans Increased Media Engagement by ufotunang: 5:51am On Aug 30, 2022 |
ASUU should had just accept whatever the federal government want to offer them for now and call off the strike and come back and table the matter to thie new government that will resume office, power after the 2023 general election...you have seen the sign that Buhari and APC are not ready to solve this ASUU issues and problems |

Jagabanofafrica:But they have millions of Dollars to spend in primaries? Are you saying Buhari and his cronies has not looted over 5 Billion Dollars since 7 years? If the want to pay that money, they can. It's just below 1.5 billion Dollars. Smaller than than the amount the spend for insecurity, yet they won't buy much weapons and loot the rest. APC is a failure, simple. |

Jagabanofafrica:They can get 1.1trillion from the same place they see billions of Naria to loot. |

But Government had money to spend on buying cars to another country, same government used billions to cut grass. The money is there, education isn't just a priority for the government, if ASUU strike is capable of stopping them from getting reelected, they would have fixed it. Jagabanofafrica: |

The FG is banking on Nigerians to condemn ASUU and make the strike become more unpopular. But deep down, the FG knows that there are some of these demands that can be met immediately while others are negotiated. However, the FG wants to prove that it has nothing to lose by having the Universities shut... in short, PMB does not care... On a lighter note, if ASUU wants their demands to be taken seriously by PMB, they should kidnap some cows and hold them for ransom...lol |

The truth is that , they don’t see Education as something too important to pay such money ! If this was concerning cows and grazing , Buhari would act swiftly but for Education, no way After all ,90 percent of his Fulani people aren’t gonna benefit from this Education thing !

Jagabanofafrica:Where do they want Govt to get 1.1t ![]() I hear you. Yet they could give terrorists 400Billion. A thief singlehandedly stole 170Billion. APC spent over 500Billions in the Convention and Primaries. Buhari gave Afghanistan $1million humanitarian aid. Buhari again through FG bought vehicles worth 1.4Billion for Niger Govt officials. Let's stop there. Do the calculation. Abeg, talk another thing. I wonder how this evil govt keep being defended in a time like this! It's strange! |
