I once had this same encounter with a prophet some years ago. This man even told me I was bearing a name I didn't know about. I had to ask my parents and it was true. He said so many things that messed up with my psych for years. I had to cut him off and face my life head on.

Delete the man's number and block him or change your line. Because if you don't you will forever be his slave and your children will take over from where you stopped.

For some time now, things have been happening in my life which i can't really explain.
So many things happening and i am just at a cross-road.
First of all, i can't really say i am a deep Christain even if i am from a strong Christain home.
I have been a nominal Christain all along. I am neither her nor there when it comes to Christianity.

During my low time in life, when things were very rough for me 5/6 years ago. My business/investment crumbled, financially at mess, i decided to sort spiritual help by seeking the face of God i so much doesn't really believe in but you know some situations just render you helpless and depressed.
SO i met this prophet in Ph. My concern about this man is that though he sees vision(or whatever it is) but he is too money conscious.
Tbh, he has told me many things about my past, told me many things about my wife and in-laws despits not knowing them nor met or seen them before.
He predicts 90% accurately (how he does that i don't know but he claims it is God)
Told me my FIL once worked as a doctor in saudi, how he came back and became broke.
He predicted i will get a work in saudi and it was true.
Predicted again he saw me working in Angola and it came to pass again. He told me this january this year ( he doesn't predict offpoint like you will work in Africa, No. he will call the country name whole haaaaa waaaa and it will be correct.
He said my former company will call me and give me a lump sum. Never believed him because i already left company 6 months ago and never heard the company do such. My brothers on nairaland, company called me oooo and paid me a lump sum.
Told me sooo many things, i mean so many things. So this is not about him being fake or heard info from somewhere.
It is either he is genuine or using voodoo. It can only be 1 out of these 2 options.
Now the issue is, he is toooo money conscious.
He has literarily turned me to his ATM machine.
First, he forced me to be paying tithe and it has to be his church. How will i be staying in lagos, going to church in lagos but paying tithe in Ph? does it really make any sense?
After so many pressure, i started doing that but i noticed he has graduated to other things.
He will tell me he saw this or this or if i explained some challenges am facing, he will tell me to raise so so so amount to solve it.
He has collected so much from me this year, bought some instruments for his church.
Now he claims i need to raise about 1.5m to pray for me else he sees them sacking me or reducing my salary where i work presently and it has to even be in dollars and not naira.
No be juju be this?
What kind of God ask millions and even requesting dollars to save me? what happens to prayers and fasting again? are those not working again? is tithe not working again?

Yeah it's obvious he's using the cold reading technique and it actually requires a willing participant that is desperate enough to believe the cold reader. This technique is the most easiest to expose which is why I'm confident I'd expose him

Naturally I wouldn't mess with such people,, there was a time when I was personally curious about these things and I had people I had found on various social media platforms who were part and parcel of the same and we were in active communication,, until (by God's grace? )I was robbed one night and my phone taken from me together with these people's contact numbers and WhatsApp chats. I look at it today as divine intervention. I can promise you nothing good will come from all this. Cause you'll reach a stage when he's proving himself without a shadow of a doubt and you'll believe with all your heart then it is that time that the trap will spring. These people know which people are susceptible to their power and which people will flee in terror. You're one of the few who's not running but who wants to know more. Don't let him trap you.

Honestly bro there's what is known as familiar spirits. It's what these diviners connect with. These spirits have been in existence long before ur forefathers. They are spirits attached to families from generation to generations carrying out certain assignments either for good or for bad. That's why u see some certain patterns of some families. From dying young or at a certain stage, not making progress in life past certain stage no matter how they hustle or are educated, not marrying right, having great wealth with ease, having certain sicknesses and diseases that cuts them off at their prime, the girls not staying long in marriages, the guys struggling forever just to be afloat etc. These familiar spirits are around to enforce such situations that have been decreed over families either by self inflicted curses by looking for help in the wrongest of places (wealth, favours, children, protection etc) or outright curse being placed over them from an outside source. That's why I pity people who do charms and all sorts and they tell them no repercussions and they believe the devil not k owing they have just mortgaged their generations even yet unborn. Thank God u are aware he is running u streets...Stay away from that false prophet. Because in tje long run u will be doing more damage to ur own soul and that of the next generations. Problems are meant to draw us to our source God and not away. He knows what ur facing and only wants u to recognize the power within which he has deposited that has been laying dormant. Have always been using that money as a small scale NGO program for myself to help the less privilege, needy, widows, motherless babies, church etc as my own little form of giving back to the society so when he convinced me to convert it as tithe, i didn't see big issue in that since he still looks valuable to me with his service but trying to encroach into my other money is where he is crossing the border line.

Aleast, if you have known me for some time on nairaland, i do help and support people with funds until i realized so many scammers here so i stopped it.
Also, if you noticed before(like 4/5 years ago), i am/was one of the monikers on nairaland vigorously against religion. I have never been in support if not of recent due to my experiences. You know that.
It is one of the reasons i am not close to my dad up till today because he is very very religious and an elder in the church likewise mum but i was more or less the black sheep of the family religious wise and what even pained my parent most is because i am the first born and they feared the others may take my step.
From my childhood, i hardly go to church. They will come back home and start beating the shit out of me. Next week i won't still go.
At a point, they do drag me to church, when i get there, 5 mins later i will exit and go back home. many things like that bro
Not all we can say here but of recent have changed and i guess i is due to my wife dragging me to church regularly over time.

Honestly bro there's what is known as familiar spirits. It's what these diviners connect with. These spirits have been in existence long before ur forefathers. They are spirits attached to families from generation to generations carrying out certain assignments either for good or for bad. That's why u see some certain patterns of some families. So many things happening and i am just at a cross-road.
First of all, i can't really say i am a deep Christain even if i am from a strong Christain home.

SO i met this prophet in Ph. My concern about this man is that though he sees vision(or whatever it is) but he is too money conscious.
Tbh, he has told me many things about my past, told me many things about my wife and in-laws despits not knowing them nor met or seen them before.
He predicts 90% accurately (how he does that i don't know but he claims it is God)
Told me my FIL once worked as a doctor in saudi, how he came back and became broke.
He predicted i will get a work in saudi and it was true.
Predicted again he saw me working in Angola and it came to pass again. He told me this january this year ( he doesn't predict offpoint like you will work in Africa, No. he will call the country name whole haaaaa waaaa and it will be correct.
He said my former company will call me and give me a lump sum. Never believed him because i already left company 6 months ago and never heard the company do such. My brothers on nairaland, company called me oooo and paid me a lump sum.
Told me sooo many things, i mean so many things. So this is not about him being fake or heard info from somewhere.
It is either he is genuine or using voodoo. It can only be 1 out of these 2 options.
Now the issue is, he is toooo money conscious.
He has literarily turned me to his ATM machine.
First, he forced me to be paying tithe and it has to be his church. How will i be staying in lagos, going to church in lagos but paying tithe in Ph? does it really make any sense?
After so many pressure, i started doing that but i noticed he has graduated to other things.
He will tell me he saw this or this or if i explained some challenges am facing, he will tell me to raise so so so amount to solve it.
He has collected so much from me this year, bought some instruments for his church.
Now he claims i need to raise about 1.5m to pray for me else he sees them sacking me or reducing my salary where i work presently and it has to even be in dollars and not naira.

What kind of God ask millions and even requesting dollars to save me? what happens to prayers and fasting again? are those not working again? is tithe not working again?

I am not that stupid, i have been observant and keeping records of his request.
The only reason have been keeping him at arms length is just because of his visions but he is becoming a burden and something else to me.
Now requesting millions? to pray and avert only God knows what?

If you wanna cut him, at least build yourself spiritually to certain level with prayer and fasting, as well as studying the word of God.

You are naturally a graced person, who would naturally break protocols, if you allow God to walk with you. He is only asking because he knows the source of your wealth and how much influence he has on you.

My advice for you is if you feel you wanna break free, you have to ask God to intervene, I can assure you he already know you are seeking for help and looking on to eliminate his influence.

Don't commonise this.. if you wanna break free, talk to God and he would deliver you. People prophesies and can be very exact but there is a thin line btw prophecy and sorcery.

There is one of his members abi client on his list he prays abi do spiritual help for that got a $400/day job in saudi last month. Out of all the candidates for the job, he was the only one they picked.
That is $12,000 a month bro.....roughly 8m naira per month.
I don't know what happened between them, maybe the guy is not fulfilling his promise as agreed or whatever.
The guy started falling sick in saudi regularly to the extent he has been deported.
He got back to nigeria 3 days ago.
Saw their chats because the man sent it to me.
Said the guy is not following instructions and will/likely broke by now.
The guy stays in Ph. It is a barge job.
I know offshore barges pay good salaries because the guy is in the HSE/auditing department.
I don't want to believe he is the one that is behind all the issues the guy had.

If you don't believe in God, please do start doing so and if you don't have a church please try attending one.

All that you listed are not strange. They are normal but they are supposed to help you get to God not a man of GOD. And if in the cause of your moving with him, he has not made you draw closer God via prayer and fasting with Bible reading then his source should be questioned.

don't be afraid, just cut him any way you can, you can start going to a holy church like christ choosen or gospel faith mission, these are the churchies i've seen and felt the through presence of the holy spirit. you can let the pastor know what you're going through. (i mean the pastor in one of those churchies above^) and put it in prayers.
