I basically had to uninstall and install again from playstore, it worked but logged me out of other accounts that i don't have their number on my phone

Just this morning. My Facebook lite app went off siting the fact that my Facebook lite app is out of date . The message displaying on the screen say "You are using an unsopprted version of Facebook lite . Update to the latest version"

They gave two options to update but when I tried the two options, it actually updated but the app keep displaying the above message

same thing here on my device.. but have went on to download Facebook friendly.. that app is quite alright

I had that issue also in the morning, but i didn't upgrade anything i just left facebook since then, this afternoon i tried it again and it's working normally like before.

It happens to me but mine started working when I clear app storage.

yes,I had to switch to the main Facebook app and am now feeling like a novice self

It's simple
All you need to do is to uninstall it completely and download new one from play store
I just did it and it's working

Nothing happened to mine. Been facebooking since morning. Even up till now.

Mine is now going smoothly than before.

The issue was fixed, those solutions above didn't really help but rather fix by fb engineer

I thought as much. It was telling me to download and I no dey download anyhow. Even on playstore, it ll lead to one kind website like that which can be fishy.

Just go to play store, uninstall the app and and install it again... But make sure u can remember your number and password...

I experienced it too. But mine has started working back
