Someone Borrowed Money In My Aunt's Name by kamtrix(op): 7:52pm On Aug 31, 2022
Good evening everyone, please there's this issue. Someone my aunt took in to be living with her recently used her phone to borrow money from I think soko loan or one of those evil loan companies that give loans without collateral. After he left, now they've been calling her everyday and threatening and all. What he did was wrong, but the question now is, how can we sort it out as he is on the run currently. Any one with such experience before. Please help urgently.
She wanted to visit their office but was adviced against it.

Your should pay the loan to save herself the embarrassment and harassment while she in cooperation with the police remain in hunt of the ‘fraudster’. Hopefully they find him soon and make him face the wrath of the law as I don’t think he’ll have money to pay your aunt. By the way, how much was the loan?

Used your aunty's phone to borrow loan?? How did he now collect the money from your aunty's account...??

Or he borrowed money from the loan company into his own account and they are contacting your aunty saying shes guarantor??

If its number two....its nothing....its not only your aunty they are calling...its eberybody on his contact ......tell your aunty to ignore....he ddnt use ur aunty as guarantor.. the loan company is just lying so that your aunty can panic and call him to pay

Chai. Sad for her. But I doubt the fraudster will still have the money when he’s found.

Go confirm well. She’s probably being contacted as a guarantor which is no big deal. Usually the name of the account the money is paid to corresponds with the one used to request the loan. The guy who raised the questions does have a point. Go confirm we’ll.

As long as its not your aunt's accounts ...tell her its nothing

Tell her if they call again...she should rain curses on them.. what they are doing is illegal
Its just that we are in a bad country.....and its not only her...those company have a software that get the contacts of on the phone of those that take their loan...thats how they have your aunty's number ...its not because the guy used her as guarantor

The question still remain, did the guy has the password to your aunt account number because its not possible for the guy to use your sister details to request for loan and use his own personal account to receive the funds...
