Now, a year later, the school is recruiting for Teachers with their vacant positions advertised on a banner and I am currently looking for similar positions to apply for.

My question is, will it make sense to go back to that same school and apply for a job?

I don't think they will even employ you due to their past experience with you

sadly THEY didnt want you any longer, therefore i doubt their stand will change today. look for something else.

Don't go and beg to apply where you are no longer wanted. It is time to remove the name from the book of existence if you have self esteem at all.

There are 2 conditions for taking you back

1. If you were exceptionally good

2. They wanted to rubbish your credibility

In either of the 2 conditions it doesn't worth it.

Learn to give yourself self-respect.

Please, don’t. You didn’t leave on your own. Reapplying would seem like an act of desperation and you will be ridiculed.
