What again, was speaking in tongues not from the Bible? He was talking about diversity of tongues and our diversity/differences as Nigerians. The bible indeed talked about speaking in tongues on the day of Pentecost from the new testament of the bible. It was a biblical account not a Quranic account neither was it from the IFA corpus.

And if he also meant speaking in different languages, the tower of Babel was a biblical account as well.

Speaking in other tongues was indeed recorded in the Bible..

Acts 2:4 (KJV) And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

But, Confusion of tongues properly fits his narratives and I think that's what he meant to refer to...this is also in the Bible

Genesis 11:7 (KJV) Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
