Speaking in tongues is speaking in another new language suddenly.

When you're speaking in tongues, you begin to suddenly speak in another new language which could mean God want the message to be hidden from others around such as, the the tower of Babel or God want you to speak to someone who doesn't hear your original Language except the sudden new tongue you're speaking which was what happened at the Pentecost.

It's all about diversity. You don't learn your mother's tongue, do you? It came natural and suddenly. That's speaking in tongues which was what happened at both Babel tower and Pentecost. Tinubu was using the Bible as a reference for diversity.
