FSG are running the club the American way.. Remember they own an American sport team too..If you follow American sport well, you will see that they don't do this buy and sell kind of transfer business.. What they do is trade! Trade one asset(s) for another of the same value.. Sort of like a trade by barter kind of thing...
My guess is they are trying to implement such at Liverpool..Maximize profit well keeping the net spent low..That's why we hardly make a major singing until we sell some players... Business wise,it's a smart decision..but for the fans, it can be painful to endure...
That we are able to compete seasons after seasons is a testament of how great Klopp is. This is the major reason I still believe we can turn things around despite our poor start.

It was a bad combo truly. But milner gave his all in that game.
Man was everywhere defending, attacking he was there.
Fabinho just returned from injury.
Feminho gat to go.
VVD should please sit on the bench for straight two matches.
Please Klopp don't start Elliot. That boy is below average.
Why keep Cavalho in the bench?
Luiz Dias is not a 90mins player.
There was no one playing through the middle of the attack. Nunes was missed here.

Quick recovery to Matip, konate, Thiago and Jota.
These players would have made the difference.
Did Liverpool miss Mané??
My answer is NO.

The bolded only got to show how reactionary some of you fans can be. The best for Firmino now is leaving him as a squad player because he still got a bit of great contribution to give to the team, I don't want to sound as if it is because of his hat-trick assist and goal for the first half but every good analyst knows many players don't have consistency but that doesn't mean it is a sign to ditch him and buy someone else, with the craziness of the market the probability to get a player that will hit-ground-running if firmino is sold is absolutely close to zero that is if after fleecing the club with large sum amount. Nunez is yet to prove himself with the heavy amount he was bought and you are clamouring for firmino to be sold. calm down bros this is football.

I was one of those who said Firmino should be cashed in on when I read abt the Juve offer(if it was real)not cos he can't give us the kind of performance he gave yesterday but because he is in his 30's,now injury prone, doesn't have the legs and consistency anymore....the last time he scored at Anfield was 2020 and knowing FSG are sell to buy owners, they ain't going to sign anyone...can we depend on firmino for consistent goals when injuries and fatigue hit the main guys? Not because he wouldn't give is all and play well, but like Milner and Hendo, consistent output in 2022?

Klopp and the scouts know their reasons and know what they saw for buying an expensive Nunez which is unlike them splashing majority of the transfer funds and cash like that except they have a very high conviction like with vvd and Allison which made us much stronger...You'd expect players like Ismaila sarr who went to Aston Villa for cheaps and players in the 30-50million range with low wages which the club always scouts for...

All in all,Let's hope for a healthy squad and their quick recoveries because it was the only reason we challenged for everything last season

I don't think the Juve offer is real cos Juve has already invested in CF and ST so he will be surplus and they just bought Di maria that is already 30 something. Liverpool is one injury away from needing another striker, they don't have enough personnel in attacking to rotate all the front row and Nunez is trying to get a feet in his debut season.Again at the bolded What is so special about scoring in anfield? goals scored at anfield are they more special and important than goals scored away? The most important thing is he has been scoring since Dec 2020 (even though they are outside anfield). The goals are also important too.

My point is Mane has gone, there should be gradual phasing out of Klopp winning team especially the attack, Nunez has come but yet to prove himself even though he has been showing glimpses, let Firmino be allowed as a squad depth because he can be useful. Just imagine with the current injuries, had it been he moved to Juventus (assuming the rumour was true) it means liverpool will be playing with a midfielder as a false 9 or shift any of the winger to false 9 and force a midfielder to play wing, whichever way liverpool don't have enough squad depth to allow Firmino to be sold. that is all my point.

What an elder sees while sitting, a child can not see it from the top of Iroko.

Shebi when I was spitting the truth here. They were attacking me, Calling me names, saying that I'm not a true fan. I'm pessimistic etc.
Now how far?
Something I saw in our first pre season match against this same Man Utd na now some of una dey see am. They say it was pre season, nobody takes pre season matches serious, they were trying to avoid injuries and test fitness but at the end of the day injuries aplenty and fitness is nowhere to be found. grin
But . . . What is the cause of the loss now, what excuse do we give this time around. Abi the player's thought we are still in pre season grin
No cause for alarm sha, it's just 3 games into the season, let's keep being optimistic we will win the league. Let's keep the hope alive, it's just 2 wins and 1 draw & we will be on level terms with Arsenal.

Liverpool want Konrad Laimer but he is not the only one
According to Fabrizio Romano: “Konrad Laimer is one of the players Liverpool are exploring but he is not the only one, there are many options. My personal opinion is that Konrad Laimer would be perfect for Liverpool. They really need that kind of player with a lot of energy.”

Romano was talking to Wettfreunde.

According to Melissa Reddy...
"Nicolo Barella is contracted to Inter until 2026 and would cost 'silly money' while Frenkie de Jong ideally doesn't want to leave Barcelona, his contractual dispute drags on, and his wage bracket is out of bounds."

Liverpool continue their search for a midfielder goes on as the transfer window closes on Thursday.

This is not going to work in English football, so every year they give only about 20-30million while the club has to raise funds by selling players, this enough is the reason why players that are meant to leave are retained cos when there is not much fund to make changes, so when they only gave money for konate last season seeing we needed a new defender after what happened in 20/21 with all defenders injured, how would we have replaced firmino then ? , The issue is all this is still on klopp, if he choosing to remain silent and work with such constraints then he would look back and see what legacy he could have built for himself, it's time for klopp to set targets for the remaining of his time with us or quit, the fsg he is pandering to are achieving their aims and objectives of increasing the value of their asset ( from £200,0000 to over 2 billion now) while he is becoming an also ran by not being too vocal and assertive about his own needs.

Nah... Because we criticize the team/coach or a particular player doesnt make us any less of a fan, heck it even makes us a concerned one... But if every club had a fan like ur kinds, The club would be sinking whilst getting a pat on their back from u for a job well done..
